TV superstar Vivian Dsena is excited about his dancing stint in Color's big ticket nonfiction show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. "I had been offered this show since the last three seasons, but I would always turn it down, saying I am doing something else. In reality I was scared of dancing, I have never been more than a baarati' dancer. This time when they again touched base, my better half (Vahbbiz Dorabjee) encouraged me saying how long will your fears keep you down? Now you don't even have the fig leaf that you are busy. All you do is hit gym, eat and sleep; you don't even have any other project at hand."
Being a non dancer learning the steps is a challenge for Vivian, "I am rehearing eight to nine hours a day. I have suffered a large number of injuries (hamstring, tissue tear and upper back spasm) even before the competition has started. Infact I was the first one to be injured, so I take that as a good omen."
Vivian is quite thankful to his fans who have made him reach where he is today, "There are a large number of actors around and it is their (Read Fans) recognition alone which has made me stand out in the crowd. Having said that I would not want my fans to vote for me just on my name, I want to earn their vote. I just want to work hard, I have been known for the same. I will be honest enough to admit I am not really in the Jhalak race. I am not here to win, but to learn something new. Money and success is a temporary phenomenon, but knowledge will stay with me till the end.
When asked what did he do after Madhubala? He says, "I spent time with family, played football, travelled by road to my home town."
Vivian who normally keeps away from social media tweeted about taking part in Jhalak, "Yes most times I am a very private person and never use Twitter except to wish happy birthday. But this time Colors asked me to inform my fans about my participation."
