Raghunath;Dev-RK's father was not able to digest Dev's affair.
"No.I won't allow this".
"Dad..why are you against our relationship?Our's is not a silly affair.We love each other".
Dev was very sad.
Raghunath shouted,"Stop it.You know how much money we are losing because of you.If you marry the girl i chose for you we will become even more richer.I tried my best to make RK marry her.But unfortunately they prefer you".
"Stop it dad.We are rich.Why should we starve for more money?I can't sell my life for money".
Ragunath raises his voice,"Dev!"
"You can shout.But i will never cheat Madhu.She is innocent.She loves me a lotI love her".
Dev was adamant.That increased Ragunath's anger.
Ragunath rang up Madhu.
"Hello..who is speaking?"Madhu asked.
"I'm Ragunath Kundra.Dev's father".
Madhu was surprised.
"Daddy!"
Unexpectedly he raised his voice,"Don't you dare call me Daddy?"
Madhu was startled.
"You want me to sacrifice my self respect to make you my daughter in law?"
"Uncle.."Her lips shivered.
"I promised my friend that Dev will get married to his daughter.But because of you i have to break my promise.Because of you my reputation is being harmed.I can't sacrifice my self respect.If i have to undergo that shameful situation i will commit suicide".
"No uncle.Don't say that.Please don't do that".
Madhu pleaded.
"Dev won't marry my friend's daughter.So I'm going to get insulted before them.No,i can't undergo such a painful experience.I will die".
"Please don't do that uncle.I will make Dev understand.I promise.He will marry the girl chosen by you".
"But he won't understand anything.He will marry her only if he starts hating you".
Madhu felt pain.
"Leave to me uncle.I will make him marry her.I promise".
Raghunath was relieved.
Madhu put the phone down and cried.
Madhu ignored Dev's phone calls.
After two days when Dev rang her Madhu attended the call.
"Madhu...where are you?Why were you not attending my calls?Is everything alright?"
Dev asked her.
"I'm at home".Madhu replied.
Dev smiled.
"I am relieved.I was so worried about you.Now i am happy.I'm so happy to hear your voice".
"Two days..without hearing your voice i felt that i would die".
Madhu became upset.
"Dev..don't try to call me again".
"Why Madhu?"
"Dev..let us break up".
Dev was shocked.
"Madhu..what are you saying?I just can't understand anything".
"Dev..i never considered our relationship so serious.It was just a time pass for me.But you are very serious.You are thinking of marrying me soon.I'm not interested in marriage.So i think it's the right time to break up".
Dev was shocked.
"Madhu!How can you say that it was just a time pass?The moments we spent together...we had even taken our relationship to another level.Don't you remember that?"
Madhu's tears fell down.
"I told you..that was just a time pass for me".
"Madhu!"Dev wept.He was shattered.
Madhu could not control anymore.
She disconnected the call.
Dev rang her up again.
Madhu picked up the phone.
"Dev..i told you..don't call me and disturb".
"Ok Madhu.I will never disturb you again.I will go from your life forever".
"Dev!"
Dev threw his mobile at the wall.
Madhu was tense.
"What did Dev mean?Hope he won't do anything bad".
Dev sweated a lot.
He wrote a letter.
"Madhu hates me.That means I'm not good enough to live in this world.So good-bye".
RK entered the room.
"Dev..what are you writing?"
"Nothing bro".
He took the paper and read.
RK was shocked.
"Dev..what nonsense is this?"
"Bro.."
RK slapped him.
Dev cried.
"I don't want to live in this world.Madhu hates me.She does'nt want me".
RK can't believe this.
"I can't understand anything.Tell me properly".
"Bro..Madhu said she can't marry me.She said our relationship was just a time pass for her".
RK was shocked.He recollected her face.
"No Dev.Madhu can't cheat you.I remember her sweet innocent face.She can't do such a dirty thing.I think there is some reason behind this.Instead of doing a blunder like suicide try to find out the reason".
Dev thought about it.He wiped his tears.
"You are right RK.Thank you so much for guiding me.Now itself i will meet Madhu".
RK smiled.
"All the best".
"Thank you bro".
Dev went out.Raghunath watched it.Dev's suicide note flew away.It reached Raghunath's hands.He read it.
Present...
Bittu asked eagerly,
"What happened after that?Did Dev meet Madhu?"
RK's eyes welled up with tears.
"No.Dev met with an accident and he passed away".
Bittu was shocked.Tears dwelled in his eyes also.
RK continued,"Everyone believed that Dev's was not an accident,but suicide.His suicide note which dad read was an evidence.But i was sure that Dev's was not suicide.Because i had changed his mind and he had hope about getting Madhu back.He would have thought of committing suicide if Madhu had rejected again.But Dev had'nt met Madhu.On the way itself he lost his life".
"So sad.Fate was cruel".Bittu felt sad for Dev and Madhu.
"I think later Madhu regretted talking like that to Dev.So she tried to contact him.But Dev had'nt taken his mobile as it was broken.Due to depression he had thrown it at the wall.So she tried the land number and i only picked up the phone".
Flashback.
RK picked up the phone.
"Yes..Rishab Kundra speaking".
"RK..I'm Madhu".
RK was surprised.
"Madhu!"
"RK..where is Dev?I tried to contact him.But his mobile was switched off".
"What is the matter Madhu?"
"I want to talk to Dev.I hurt him.I thought about it.I can't hurt him anymore.Because he loves me a lot and i also love him a lot.I don't want to lose him.I want to clear the misunderstanding between us".
RK was relieved as Madhu was ready to patch up with Dev.
"But Madhu..Dev had left the house one hour back to meet you.He did'nt reach there yet?"
"No.He has'nt reached here.Where is Dev?".
Madhu was tense.
"I think because of the traffic block only he is late.Don't worry.The confusions in your relationship will be solved".
RK tried to comfort her.
Present..
RK told Bittu,"Later only we came to know that Dev has passed away".
RK wept.
Bittu asked,"And Madhu?"
RK looked upset.
