Chapter 2

Without you I lose myself...

Madhu was reading her notes and was on her way to the library when RK stopped her way...

RK: Umm Madhu.. I.. I want to say you something..

Madhu: Yes RK! Say...

RK: Madhu I.. I.. I love you (he said while closing his eyes)

Madhu was shocked but knowing him, she started looking around... And saw some boys pointing at them and giggling...

Madhu (hits on his arm): RK I am not stupid yaar... I can see them pointing at us... How much is the bet for hun??

RK (sighed in relief): Ugh!!! I had a feeling that you would figure it out... Well, I was suppose to say I love you to any random girl... The bet was about does the girl would slap me or not and I was like she won't... Obviously I chose the random girl to be you, because I knew you woudn't slap me...

Madhu: Umm!! But I should have slapped you for bringing love in between us...

RK (pissed): Umm!! You are talking as if it would be a sin if we fall in love or do u think too high of yourself...

Madhu (with a pride): Yes, I would go with the second option... I am too good for you...

RK gave a 'what' look to her when Madhu continue "Dude just chill... And why the freaking hell are we talking about us falling in love... Remember it was a bet.."

RK (calmly): Oh yeah!! So now regarding that,I already won the bet... (wink at her & gave a victorious smile to his friends)

Madhu (irately): RK you and your friends seriously need to grow up...

In RK's room, all four went chit chatting...

Trishna (excitedly): Yes yes... I can't tell how happy I am... Thanks to the winter break... I wonder if there was no Christmas how miserable it would have been...

Mukund (pissed off): Yeah!! Lemme describe our winter break... You have an eight hour shift everyday at Walmart... I am Going to work overtime to earn more money at... RK's gonna go run at every place who are hiring so that he can find a job... The only person who'll enjoy is Mady... Mady,I am so jealous yaar...

Madhu (pouted): Aww!! Guys don't feel bad... I Have to go and its just a week... I woudn't have gone but my Maasi Hadn't sent me the ticket along with a letter to join them at Vancouver during the break... I mean I.. I can't say no and honestly, I wanna go...

RK: But what will we do without you?

Madhu: Umm!! Mukund just said look for a job... And please guys don't try making a bollywood film out of it... I am going for a week, not a year or so...

RK (sadly): Okay,If u say so...

The winter break had started.. Madhu had left for Vancouver... It had only been an hour and RK was missing her so much so he thought of leaving a message on Facebook...

Hey, Sorry RK... My mobile's battery died out and as usual I coudn't find my charger... And didn't have access to Facebook coz my Laptop's charger was in the suitcase & i was so tired that coudn't unpack yet... So How are you?? All well there?? I'll call you today, Pakaaa!!!

Ohh its awesome... Today I went for shopping and ufff, you know I spent all my savings... I forgot to mention, Maasi's neighbour is so freaking hot yaar... I think i have a crush on him... You know there's gym right beside maasi's house... He goes there and I see him regularly... What a muscular body he has...

They kept talking about random things but something was bugging RK but he didn't mentioned it to Madhu... The whole week passed like this... RK would stay online on FB 24/7 so that he could reply back as soon as Madhu messaged him and at night he would wait for Madhu's Call... Whenever she would talk about random hot guys, He would be angry but didn't respond...

[P]On 22nd December, Madhu returned back... RK was the happiest person on this planet... And when he saw her for a moment, well actually for quite a few moments... He was lost in his thinking that indeed, she is the most peaceful sight in this world...[P]
