Madhu is only thinking of having a baby. RK is now starting to realize that he can't be self-centered for their marriage to survive. Though it seems just having a baby alone will bring Madhu out of the past. Unfortunately, that alone won't do it. Madhu doesn't trust RK. She doesn't trust him to think in terms of US instead of ME.
