I promised myself you have to do it Rk.

Next day i couldn't go to coffee shop as my father had an asthma attack and i had to admit him in the hospital where he was having his treatment,his condition was stable after sometime but doctor said to keep him in observation for at least one day,it happens with asthma patients in winters mostly.

When Trish called me than only i realized that i haven't told her that i can't come today,I than told her the matter.

Trish said, she is coming to see uncle now,i stood at the gate so that i could took her in but

to my surprise,Trish came to hospital but with Madhu,why Madhu came here?

Soon i got the answer,Trish told me that Madhu drops her home everytime,when ever Madhu and she go to any place together.So when she was coming here Madhu insisted her to come in her car,that's how she came with Madhu.I believed Trish but somewhere i felt as if Madhu wanted to come here,well what ever,she was here and that matters.I took them in, while Trish was introducing Madhu to my mom and dad,I was staring her,so sweet of her to come here,I was impressed by this.

I came with them outside the hospital to see off them,Trish mobile ranged and she was talking on phone,it was drizzling outside, and while going downstairs,Madhu was about to slip when

I just hold her in my arms, for a minute we were so close to each other,I saw her bit scared and I said,"Calm down Madhu,relax,nothing happened,you are safe."

Realizing our position,we feel awkward,we placed ourselves and than she said,

"Thanks,don't know how ..i.. I ..."

"Its ok,the stairs become slippery,that's why..."

Trish came and I thought,its good,she didn't saw anything.

Later on my mom asked me is she the same girl Madhu,Mr.Shamsher's daughter for which you are working?I told them yes,she is the same girl,she was praising Madhu and I felt so glad.

She talked me about her.

Next day she also came,now I thought that she has some feelings for me may be,or she came again out of courtesy. Dad was feeling more better and she asked him,how is he now?

In short she did have an impact on my parents also and I want to jump in joy that she met my parents also,and they liked her too,but how could I told her that.

My dad got discharged and was fine.After this when I went to meet Trishna and Madhu, I found her more comfortable that day. Days passed and

i noticed changes in Madhu,she was now opening up and I felt so happy.

I got a call from Mr Malik , I was suppose to go to Malik mansion to discuss about the b'day preparations at home. Madhu wasn't at home so he called me up. I went there and wow! what a mansion, everything was awesome.Their dcor was also fantastic, I loved it.

We discussed many things and Mr. Malik said,"I have told Madhu that I am going to renovate her room so she has to live in the other room.The room is free for you Rk,do what do you want to do.Madhu's room is on ground floor and I have given her another room on first floor, so no chance of her to see it before b'day, I'll take care of that."

"Sir, ok I will start my work from today,I have planned everything."

"Ok,good."

And then the day came,the b'day of adorable angel of Mr.Malik,Ms beauty, Madhubala Shamsher Malik.

Early morning I went there, I want to wish her first but how could I,I couldn't even reveal that I am here,so I look at her large picture in the room and gave her a flying kiss,and wished her happy b'day.

Mr. Malik asked me whether everything is done or not as they wanted to bring Madhu there.I told him that everything is ready and he can come.

I was nervous,what if Madhu will not like it whatever I have planned,what if she will get more angry with me and her father.All these thoughts were keep bugging my mind when I saw Mr. Malik with Madhu.She was looking damn gorgeous even without any makeup, oh my natural beauty,I sighed.

I went to the room next to her room and saw that

her father was keeping his hands on her eyes and was bringing her to the room and then he told her to open the eyes only after entering the room.When she entered the room,he just came outside and come to me,we both were looking her from the side wall and the mirror I put there that what she is doing?

She opened her eyes and watched everything in the room one by one.The room was full of flowers of many kinds,all of her choice,there was several pictures and posters of her mother and father with her.On every picture there was a line from the hindi movie song written,it was"Mere ghar aayi ek nanhi pari."

This idea was given by my mom.

In one pic,Mr. and Mrs. Malik were holding their new born baby girl Madhu, in other one her mother was kissing her, in one her father was kissing her, in some of the other pics, both of them hugging her, caressing her, some pics were of hospital and some of them were showing her from childhood to young age.

Her toys which she liked the most,the paintings,drawings,things of crafts, etc.which she had made when she was a kid.

She starting crying and was sobbing, hearing her cry, Mr.Malik said ,"Rk have I did something wrong,she is crying and I can't see her crying!!!! I wanted to give her smile but I gave her tears."

"Sir just don't think like that,let her cry,let all the pain flow through her eyes,than she will be fine,we should wait for some more time."

"But Rk...Rk ..i ..i can't...i wanted to make her realize that I never thought that she snatched Padmini from me,that she is the reason for which I want to live,that she is the most precious gift of my wife to me,she is an apple of my eye,how can I hate her? I just wanted her to be happy on her b'day,not be sad,that's why I gave you this work to erase this negative thought from her mind which is creating a gap between me and her,my daughter,my Madhu,and what ever you planned, I loved it and thought that its totally awesome, but I think she...she..."

"Daddy" Madhu came running and hugged her father tightly and still was crying. Mr. Malik also had tears in his eyes.I thought, finally I will know now that she liked it or not.

"Madhu beta,stop crying please dear,I can't see you crying,you know that na,haan..."

He took her into the room,I also went in the room.

"Daddy,I knew.. you love me so much,... I also love you so much,...but I don't know.. how that thought was so much into my mind that..i.. I couldn't realized that along with me,...you were also suffering,...but really I..i..thought that because of me, because of me,...mom died,I know...you tried hard to convince me.. that I should be happy... and there is no such thing ...but...I couldn't help it, everytime this thought keep bugging my mind that I have no right to laugh,...to ..smile...

to accept all luxuries of life...how can I be happy when i took my mom's life, infact I felt so grateful to mom that she grant me life and sacrificed her life for me, but in all this, I didn't saw your pain, didn't realized your condition, I am so sorry for not realizing your pain...,your loneliness...i was lost in myself...only...Please forgive me Daddy,P..L..E..A..S..E..

I gave a glass of water to Mr. Malik,which he further gave to Madhu.She drank some water and again started crying.

"Madhu stop crying my dear, its ok, you don't have to say sorry at all.I can understand your condition too,I am not angry at all. The idea was to make you happy, not sad,What ever happened,its past now, let's forget it and move on.

Thanks God and RK that my Madhu is back, my princess is back."

Mr.Malik was wiping her tears but they were flowing and flowing.

She said, "Daddy I know,you want to make me happy, not sad,but all this made me so emotional. I have listen your talks,but before that when I saw my room, I felt nostalgic, its not that I have never seen the pics or toys etc. before but when I saw them today they had a totally different effect on me.I was so touched by all this, by the efforts,by all of the pics ,toys,flowers and all.Even I found my fav candyfloss also which I used to demand from you on every b'day of mine.You remember everything daddy.

I can see the happiness on my mom's face in the pics,it clearly says that she was very happy that I came in this world and you also,missed mom so much but than also you celebrated my b'day every year, keeping your pain inside and showing outside that you are happy.

I understand now what my mom wanted, what you wants daddy,I was thinking in a wrong way but now I will not do it again. I know that you and mom are always with me."She was saying but in between crying also.

"Okay okay my sweety,i am very happy that now you understand and now,come on give me a smile..."

She smiled and I also felt very happy, mission completed. I pat my back in mind.

She saw me and said,"He..he is ..."

"Madhu,he is RK,and credit goes to Rk,oh! you don't know him,right! He is Rishabh Kundra,he have done a great job, I gave him the work to prepare for your b'day in such a way that you feel your importance in my life and I can get my daughter back,thanks so much Rk,I can't thank you enough actually."

"Oh no sir,please don't say this,credit goes to you only,you are a wonderful father.

and it was my pleasure Sir that I could help you in any way and thanks to you too, you gave me a chance."

"Ah! you are so talented,young man."

Madhu saw me and saw her father and then said.

"Daddy, you have done a lot for me,thanks so much dear Daddy,and ya thanks so much to you too Rk, that you helped my father and done all this. "

What I heard just now,she thanked me!

"Daddy actually I know him,he is Trishna's bro's friend."

"You know him,that's good,but he never told me this."

Before he could say anything I interrupted and said,"Sir I didn't knew you and your daughter before,I saw Madhu firstly with Trishna and next day only I got to know that she is your daughter.

There was no such intention in my mind to hide anything but it just happened.I thought,you might misunderstood me if I will told you this and I really wanted to do all this for Madhu's b'day,that's why I haven't told you."

Than I told him the whole story of our meetings and my one sided love story and noticed Mr Malik's and Madhu's changing expressions while listening to me, in last I said,

"I just don't know,how to say this but I have to say this as I don't know, if I ever get the chance to say it in future,sir, I don't know how it happened but in this whole process, I fell in love with your daughter, your Madhu...,If you want,I will go from here right now and I will respect your and Madhu's decision what ever it will be,I am not saying that Madhu also loves me but I just wanted to tell about my feelings,now I can't control them any more...hope you understand my point..."I sighed and looked down,couldn't watched their faces and looked into their eyes.

I felt a hand on my back,

It was of Mr. Malik.He gave a pat on my back and than said,"Rk,hey boy you are just awesome, you are so honest and good you told us your feelings about Madhu,well I have no doubt about your intentions as I have impressed by you in the very first meeting,you really wanted to help me,I know,and I also know that if you wouldn't have fallen for Madhu,than also you would have tried your best to plan for her b'day.Rk,I heard your story and seriously I am happy for you too,I can understand that why you didn't told me before.You know something, I also was thinking that you are just perfect for Madhu,and see you are already in love with Madhu, but it depends not on me but Madhu also,if she likes you too,and if she will agree than I will be happy for both of you, I only want my daughter's happiness,that what matters for me."

I looked up to Madhu and Mr. Malik, I saw Madhu was blushing,means what..what.. she..she...!!."

"Madhu do you also like Rk?,your choice is most important for me,if you know him already than you must have been observed him also,so do you think about Rk the same way,he thinks?"

She said shyly,"Daddy, I was confused about my feelings some time back but now I ..i..mean..i mean...actually yes."She blushed and than Mr.Malik lifted her face up and said,"Madhu you are blushing my dear,its clear for me though, but want to hear this good news from you,I have no prob.with that,I like him too. Come on."

"Daddy,yes I was confused but with time,I realized that he is a really good person,he is different from others,and he was helping a girl and her father,it touched me most,and slowly I also started liking him but I was not sure actually,more over I didn't knew that if he also has some feelings for me or its just one sided,so I didn't tell even Trishna.but than I realized that I..i..also love Rk."

She was saying all this with her eyes looking down and I was hearing her soothing voice and her words for me,I thought they both might not misunderstood me,but thanks God,nothing happened like this. So she loves me too,wow,it's the most happiest news I have ever heard.

I was so so happy, than Mr.Malik said,"Oh! You relieved me Madhu, you have chosen the right guy, Rk is perfect for you and you are for him. Now when you both confessed your love for each other, come here Rk,it's a double celebration day for me."

I went there and Mr.Malik embraced both of us.

"Sir,I ,i. mean t..h..an..k..you.!"

"Now fix my meeting with your parents,ok.There are so many things to do now, so I am going,Madhu and Rk,you guys need to talk,I think,so iam going,you will come later on,ok."He kissed our foreheads and went out of the room.

I was just on cloud nine.I thank God, he granted me Madhu..We were alone there,but were clueless, as to from where or how to start to talk with each other.I went near her and we looked at each other,and we both said "Thanks " at the same time,realizing this,we both smiled.

She said shyly,"Rk,I can never forget,what you have done for me,I just loved this surprise, but I didn't knew that you..you.."

Now I took her hand in my hand and said,"Madhu, I am so happy that you liked all this,and I am so happy that you..you said,you also love me,I mean I really feel on top of the world right now...and btw,

Happy B'day to the most beautiful girl !!

oh I just forgot to bring your gift in hurry."

"Thank you Rk,you and dad have given me the most w'ful gift,so what more can I ask for?"

"Madhu,nah, your gift is due,and there are so many surprises still left,which you'll see in the evening."

"Really!! More surprises!!i am excited to see all surprises,as you have planned them for me!'She smiled and widened her eyes.

"Ofcourse, and I hope, you will like them too, so you also started liking me,wow,and I always thought,its one sided."

"I also thought the same, and many a times, I also stole a glance of you,when you and Trishna were busy in studying,I also wanted to talk to you but something stopped me every time."

"Really, I am so happy to hear all this."

"And.."She was about to say something but

my mobile rang and it was my friend's call.

"Madhu I'll come after sometime ok,take care,sorry, I have to go now but our talk is not finished yet,remember." I winked.

"Bye Rk, I'll wait for you."She smiled.

When Rk went out of the room, Madhu came near the mirror and while combing her hairs, she was thinking: Rk has gone now,oh! Rk I myself don't know when I fell for you,but, yes,you have a charming personality,and how can a dashing, handsome guy like you get un noticed,and what to say about your nature,you are so different from all those,who ran behind money and fame,and I love your thoughts,your view to see life,and you don't know,but when you didn't came one day, I missed you so much and when I heard about your father, I couldn't stop myself from coming to hospital.I was worried for him and you too.

I wanted to tell you that I am with you, don't worry and also after seeing your father in hospital, I was even more worried for my father,I thought if I will be sad,than how my father will be happy. After meeting you many changes came in me, and when I was in your arms for a moment,

everything stopped and my heart told me,Madhu you'll always be safe in his arms,that time something happened to me.After that I wanted to talk to you more and more and I am thankful to Trish,o/w how could i meet you.Thanks God for giving me a partner like Rk."

In the evening,a party was arranged for Madhu.Before going for the party, I went to Madhu's room and knocked the door and told her that its me.Madhu opened the door and I went in.She was looking drop dead gorgeous in the pink suit.I lost again for a moment and only came out when she

Shaked my shoulder a little.

"What happened to you Rk?"

"You are looking so gorgeous, can't take my eyes off you."

"Thanks for the compliment Rk and you are also looking so handsome."

"Really!well thanks Madhu,now it's the time for your gift b'day girl, let's see if you like it or not."I gave her the box and she opened it.It was a necklace.

"Wow, its awesome Rk,how lovely."She said excitedly.

"You liked it,great."

"Loved it,thanks a lot,this will always be precious for me,as its from you."

"Let me help you."She stood in front of mirror and I made her wore that and than couldn't stop myself and hugged her from back. We were so close and it was a out of the world feeling.our hearts were beating faster,she blushed and I said,"

"You are looking like a princess..."

"Who found her prince charming today on her b'day."She added.

I turned her around and cupped her face and said,"Smile like this always, and remember, I am with you always, I love you Madhu."

"And you also be like this always Rk, your Madhu is with you, love you too."

I know its too early,but I am waiting for this day for so long,so tell me,will you marry me?"

She nodded her head in yes and hide her face in her hands.I remove her hands from her face and saw her face,it turned pink.She looked more beautiful that moment.

We hugged each other tightly.

she loved all the surprises,first of all,all her friends were there,even them also with whom she didn't was in touch from long time,her fav songs were playing, her fav food was there,her fav colors were being used in decorations.

Trishna also came to b'day party and Madhu told her about us,she was so happy knowing this.

All in all it was a bang on party and she loved it so much,and Mr.Malik also praised me many times.

Mr. Malik gifted her a car and many other gifts too. She was so happy and its was cleared from her face.

I told Mr. Malik that I will not take a single rupee for this work, previously it was a different matter but now Madhu is my love and I can't take it.He understood my point but he wanted to give me something,not in form of fees but as gifts,I accepted his gifts,it was a very beautiful watch and a camera as he knew I love photography.

Time passed and gradually she become the old Madhu and wow, she was one of a kind, Mr. Malik was so happy to get their daughter back and ya she could make anyone smile and laugh,no matter how sad one is, she was full of life and so cheerful and she filled my life with happiness too.I got a job of my interest and our engagement was done and marriage was also fixed.My parents and Mr. Malik were so happy with this relationship.She was very caring for my parents too.

After two months,she will be my wife, that mere thought made me so happy.

One day when I was in my office,working on my project.

Madhu came in my cabin and shut the door.She came near me and close my files on which I was working,I was like what! "Honey, what is this,why are you doing this?"

"Honey, for your kind information,its lunch break now and we have to go,let's go."

"What,wait a min,where are we going and why?"

Come on,Rishbah,time is running,dear,we have to do lots of shopping."

"Shopping??in lunch break?

"We will be back in time,ok,I do shopping very fast,chaaalo..."

She almost pulled me so that I could get up but I also pulled her back,oh!she was looking amazing...i made her sit on my lap,in one chair,we were sitting so close to each other.I cupped her face and we shared an eyelock. She blushed,we were just inches apart...she ruffled my hair a little and than...

"Oouch..."This was my voice.

"Madhu what did you do?"

"Nothing,just pinched you, because you don't want to go and I want you to come with me,dear we don't have time for anything else,come on,we have to go."She winked and said.

She rubbed my arm softly,where she pinched me and smiled very sweetly, in a way that I couldn't even show my anger,I was just looking at her.

"Who can say,you are the same girl whom I met some time back."

"And who can say you are the same boy whom I met sometime back,she put her arms around my neck and whispered in my ear." But the next minute she stood up as she saw the time in her wrist watch.

"Rishabh,I don't want to be late now,come fast."

"But why? okay okay coming dear,let's go."I thought there's no use in arguing with her,she will tell the reason soon.

"But my lunch?"

"Honey, now we are already late so you have to do your lunch in the car today."

"Fine,honey,"

"So sweet of you,love you."

"Me too."

We went to the nearby shopping mall and yes I knew it,

she did shopping very fast,our hands were full of shopping bags and we were in the basement, in the parking area.

"Madhu,now can I please know,why you shop all this,you told me,you'll tell me after shopping."

"Rishabh actually I have done this shopping for mom and dad as tomorrow is their wedding anniversary."

"What,oh man! how can I forget this.How it slipped out of my mind?"

"Because you are too busy these days in your job and doing so much hardwork,and so what if you forget,its tomorrow na,and mom,dad don't know that you forget,so chill.You just do your job,for rest of the things,I am here.She smiled.

I was so touched by this,she cares for me,for my mom,dad so much.

"Madhu,I mean...even before marriage, you are performing your duties so well, I am impressed, ya actually I am so busy but still i..i.."

"Oh! Rishabh,its ok,its all about us now, I was in hurry as you'll be busy till night, and if I haven't brought you here in lunch break,how could i do the shopping with you,so I did shopping this time,so that tomorrow,we will celebrate their Anniversary and we'll give them gifts."

"And I was thinking,why you are so much after shopping and ignoring me also."I make a baby face.

"Can I ignore my Rishabh ever in my life,hmm...aww Rk,don't think this again haan.."And she gave me a hug.

"Hmm...ishq ne hame niqakkma kar diya,warna aadmi hum bhi the kaam ke."I asked sighing.

"Aadmi aap ab bhi hain kaam ke,ye lo,saare bag lo aur chalo."She said naughtily and handed over all her bags to me, I saw all the bags and looked at her, she looked at me again and I couldn't help but laughed and than we both laughed

looking at each other and moved towards the car.

She sat in the car and handed me a perfume and told me ,its my gift,I liked it,she never forget to bring gift for me,she was such a sweetheart.

Mom and dad were also touched by this and loved all the gifts.

Its been sixth months, since our marriage and we are living happily and now one more thing left which I want to do for her. Madhu was a degree holder in commerce but she has interest in paintings, crafts more,and when I ask her if she wants to work than she told me that she wanted to do some work but after few months,firstly she wants to spend time with me, mom and dad,after that she will do work. Now she hinted me that she wants to do something and I planned something for her.

Madhu came and ask me,"Rk,these are your clothes and this is your wallet,and yest.you gave me this file,so this is here,ok,now I have given you all your things,nothing left."

"One thing is left Madhu.you wanted to start some work,so I have thought of something."

I came near her,kissed her cheek,and

gave her a bunch of keys.She looked at me with surprise.

Rk what's the matter!"

"Madhu these are the keys of your studio,where you can paint your imaginations, and fulfill your dreams,paintings and crafts need so much concentration and here you can concentrate at your work properly.It has an office also where you can do meetings with the exhibitors and buyers also.I want my Madhu to touch the sky, to be successful in life."

She kissed me on my cheek too and said,

"Rk, I am speechless,you have always amazed me,today also,I mean, I shared with you my desire and you just did this for me, I am so happy,of course this Madhu will touch the sky with her Rk, I feel blessed to have you in my life Rk."

"Same here Madhu,same here."

"Madhu,you are my life."

"Same here Rk,same here."

They looked at each other and smiled.
