As i entered in the coffee shop, i was mesmerized by a beautiful girl sitting and reading some book, when she lifted her face than only i could noticed how ravishing she is.
Suddenly i saw another girl coming from the other side and sit to the table where Miss beauty was sitting and started talking to her. She was Trishna and I know her, she was my best friend's Sikki's sister,so now i can at least get Miss beauty's name,oh i am totally lost in her eyes,i went there and said,"Please can I sit here."
They both turned and Trishna said, "Hey Rishabh bro, long time haan, where have you been?"
"I was busy in finding job, giving interviews etc, and what about you, oh! well your bro Sikki is settled in Singapore right!"
"Ya bro is settled there,so do you come here often? as i haven't seen you here, we came here almost daily!"
"I came here for first time and see i found you."
"You were searching for a job na,did you find any job?"
"No, not till now, i am still searching for it."
"Are you looking for any particular kind of job?"
"See, finding a job of your field and of your interest is sometimes become difficult,i am a degree holder of economics and have done other courses too but the jobs offered to me weren't of my choice, sometimes the jobs were of totally opposite work,you know Trish,i want a job in which i feel satisfied,well, though i didn't get a job but got a new work today and its seems quite interesting."I smiled.
"Can you tell me about this new work or want to keep it with you."Trish said curiously.
"Yes, i can tell you about the type of work, but not the name of the person for whom i'll be working."
"Okay, okay, so what type of work it is?"
"Trish,i went to find a job in the company of a leading businessman, a very rich man, as someone told me about his company,he didn't have any job for me at present but he assured me to look after if something according to my qualification comes up to him. As i was about to get up, he stopped me and said,
" hey young man! wait, i can give you another type of work just for the time being, as you also want to earn something right!, its not about degrees or office work but its really important for me,i was about to search for a person who can do this,you said you are a creative person so i thought of it, and you might also not want to sit idle till than you find yourself a good job."
I asked him which type of work he wants me to do, than he said that he wants to celebrate his daughter's b'day which is coming in few days, she is depressed due to some reason and he wants to cheer her up, he offered a good amount of money to me and said that he will talk to me more about her daughter in detail if i want to do this work.
I can't tell you much about this Trish, i hope you understand."
"Wow it's a new kind of work and kind of help rather than work and
ya i can understand bro, its ok, but what made you say yes to his offer?
"I agreed to it after thinking, when i heard about her daughter, i felt that i should help this man,he loves his daughter so much and want her bubbly daughter back."
In between this chatting, i glanced over Ms beauty many times and i was amazed by her beauty every time,she was an innocent beauty but i wanted to listen to her voice also.
"Oh btw bro sh..."Before she completed her sentence,
suddenly a driver came and asked Ms beauty,"Ma'am sir is asking if you are free then they want you to go with them on shopping."
"She nodded in yes and got up, Trish also took leave with her and they went.
"What's this! damn! i think Trish was about to tell her name but driver came, never mind, if not today, soon i will know her name for sure."I spoke to myself.
Next day i went to Mr. Shamsher Malik's office, what an office, i just loved it.
He called me and i went in, than we have a detailed conversation about her daughter, he told me, "You know Rishabh..."
"You can call me RK, Rishabh Kundra, RK.."
"Ok, RK,i don't want to just celebrate my daughter's b'day,that work can be done by any agency,i just wanted to remove my daughter's sadness,and for that only celebration is not enough, i want to remind her what she is for me! ,though she loves me very much but my daughter was not like this before, i am trusting you as i feel something special about you, i don't know why?"
"Sir you can trust me, i just want to know what is all behind this, so that i can know what i have to do,if you can tell me please."
"Of course i will tell you, she was a very cheerful, full of life, fun loving, bubbly girl, her smile brought smile on my face even in my sad moments, but from some time she has been like this, and the reason being some unpleasant incident."
Actually, her mother died the same day when she was born, few hours after giving birth to her, from than till now she is my only treasure. I loved and will always love my wife so much. When she has taken the decision to choose her child's life over her life though she knew that her life was in danger,but than also she agreed to give birth to the child.
Though I got to know this only after Child's birth, she hid this news from me than also, i love her and respect her even more.
She was a gem of a person, she told me that she wanted to give me the most precious gift of my life as she knew that i was waiting for the child eagerly and she said that today or tomorrow, she can die out of her disease, and she can't even have another child due to her illness, so she wanted to give birth to that child, that's how Madhubala, my daughter,came in our life, Padmini, my wife, left me and i can't forget her for the rest of my life but i am so grateful to her that she has gifted me a reason to live, to smile.
I tried to do all duties of a mom and dad, and she always said that dad, you are my dad and mom both, but sometime back,i met padmini's sister who came to India after long time,in a party and when she was talking to me, she was remembering Padmini and said that her sister Padmini died because of Madhu, if she didn't agreed to bring Madhu in this world, than she wouldn't have died.
I told her that its her choice and she did it for us,so there's is no fault of Madhu in it, Madhu is not responsible for her death,but as soon as i could finish my sentence, i saw Madhu there, she listened everything.
I rushed up to her and wanted to talk to her but she locked her room from inside.Than i request her to open the door and than i talked to her, she was crying and when i tried to convince her than for that time she told me that she loves me and her mom so much and she understands why her mother have chosen this path.
Later on her Aunt also apologized her but from that day,i noticed change in her behavior.
He paused a little and i said, "Sir, your story is so emotional,you are also a gem of person, your daughter should realize how much you love her."
"Rk, she knows it very well but this is the problem now that she thinks that she is behind all these.I tried hard to convince her many times after that day and she told me that she loves me and her mom very much but she can't get this thought out of her mind, she thinks that she is the reason of her mom's death and i have given her all luxuries of life, given her so much love still she thinks that she snatched Padmini from me.
I want to remove this thought from her mind, you know,i also wanted her to join my business but knowing her condition,I am not saying this to her.
Now she does all her works, she never say no to me now, she do what i want her to do, she is living her life but without much interest, not like before, she used to spent time with me, talked with me for hours, but now if she talks to me, i can clearly see in her eyes and can judge from her words that she is not feeling well. She seldom smiles and laughs,
and if it will be like this, i am afraid ,i will have to take her to the doctor and i am not doing it now as than she will consider herself as a sick person.I want to do my last try.
Now her b'day is coming and i always celebrated her b'day as i never for a second thought that i lost Padmini coz of her,and i told her that its mine and her mother wish that her b'day must be celebrated every year, in the past years she was unaware about this, so she understood our wish but i know, she will not celebrate this year as now that day will remind her of her mom's death more. So i want to celebrate her b'day in a manner by which she can know that how special she is for me and how much she means to me, i hope you understand RK."
I saw tears in corners of his eyes.
I said, "Sir i understand you and don't worry, i will try my best."
Than he handed over her pic and turned his face to the other side. The moment i saw the pic, i just got shocked,is she Madhubala, miss beauty is Madhubala? OMG, what's this and why God is doing this, no, no i can't tell Mr. Shamsher that i know her daughter, may be God is helping me out to help her further,
Its good that sir has not seen my shocked face.
He turned to me.
I just could say,"Sh..she is so beautiful sir,and the name is also very beautiful."
"Ya she is my rose flower, my daughter is sad now, so can you do this work for me."
"Sure sir,I will."
Than he told me about her interests and hobbies, about her friends etc.
The next day i again went to the coffee shop just to have a look that she is there or not, and what i saw that she was there with Trish. I went there and say hello to them.
Trish introduced me to her but by that time, i knew her name but i pretended as if i don't know about her.
She smiled a little, i also did the same. To my surprise, Trish told me that she wanted a favor from me in her studies, if i can come there daily for few days,i agreed,it was a brilliant chance to meet Madhu daily and to find out more about her.
For the next 3-4 days, i went there and while Trish and i were busy in studies, she was busy in reading, i knew, she loves reading and after the studies we used to chat for a while and slowly, she was also participating a little, but very little. I didn't wanted to ask anything about her from Trish as than she could have doubt me.I found Madhu quite most of the time,but she was very comfortable with Trish,after all she was her best friend and Trish knew her very well. On the fourth day when,i cracked a joke while talking to Trish, she couldn't resist and laughed,i saw her and her smile took my heart.
Trish also said,"Madhu you look more beautiful when you laugh dear, i told you many times before also."
Trish you are right. "I said but next minute, i thought I shouldn't have said this,what she will think of me?
Madhu stopped laughing and said to me,"That joke was so funny, you have a good sense of humour."
"What i just heard, she praised me,for the first time,wow,keep it up RK."I thought while staring at her.
"Oh! thanks Madhu."
So she was opening up a little and i wanted to talk to her more.
Next day i went there and found that she was sitting alone, Trish was not there, i knew as she told me on phone,i came here just to see whether she will come or not, i was falling for her more day by day,i loved everything about her, couldn't help myself going there and she was there, so she likes me too or its just that its her daily routine.
But that day my mood was off, as I have an argument with my father about not doing job.
He asked me to get a job even if it is not up to my level, just to start my career,but i said,i want to a job acc. to my qualification and interest only,and I left the home and came here.
I went near her table and did hi-hello. She told me that she had some work in the library so, she came here from library to have an coffee,and i found her more comfortable today.
Don't know what happened to me,but i told her all that happened with me and my father.
She listened carefully and that said,
"See, i am no one to advice you but still I would like to say that Parents do everything for us,and your father is right, you can take a job for a while, than you can leave it when you will find a good job, nothing wrong in it. You are already doing a temporary work, so why not pick up a job for the time being."
It was so nice to hear her voice.
Though i didn't tell Trish or Madhu about Mr.Shamsher and his work after that but it means she remember that.and I found her right,and felt guilty that i argued my father.
"Madhu, you are right,actually my father Mr Mohan Kundra,also started his career as a clerk but after that he did found a job of his interest, now he is a professor,and my mother, Radha Kundra, wanted to be a house wife so my father never forced her to do work,thanks a lot for the advice Madhu, i 'll keep it in mind."
"You're welcome, ok i have to go now, bye."
"Bye."
Than I went home and have a talk with my father and told them that i will surely do what he wants me to do, but let me do this work firstly,i told them about Mr Shamsher's story, which i haven't told them yet,he was happy that i am doing a good work.
I haven't told them before,as i thought that what they will think about this?
Now i thanked Madhu for this and i promised myself that i will also clear the misunderstanding she has in her life.
