this the problem of our society dear..
we judge people on the basis of their professions and the amount of money they make..
even kids.. the grades a child scores measures upto how good and well mannered he is..
this is really distressing...
something should be done to realize that a person shouldnt be judged on these basis... maybe your cousin was good in something else but he had to change his profession or studies due to pressure of the society..
that changes the whole life of a person..

good idea dear just go and cheer him up and tell him to keep faith on himself that he is doing his best and tell him to be positive towords life

u know one uncle of mine.. he was way too good and art.. my mom tells that in their teenage even while chatting with friends he would be scribbling something random on the newspaper and it turned out to be beautiful sketches or other art pieces..
but his father was hell bent on making him a doctor.. so he sent him to Russia for MBBS.. no doubt he completed his MBBS but he still hasnt been licensed to practice in India.. and he is not able to leave his passion for art.. and so he couldnt make money and automatically he was looked down by the society..
Thats the irony of our system.. first we destroy a person.. and then we label him to be unsuccessful...
