Unrequited Love
Hello Bittuji good morning. Good morning chief. Chief the shooting for new film is starting in 3 days for that we have to move to location tomorrow evening. Till then you can enjoy with your new girlfriend Ria. No Bittuji I don't want to spend any time with them hereafter. Last few days I feel lonely and I got bored of this superstar fame and girls. What chief you are only 35 years old and there is lot of things to achieve in your future. But Bittuji I feel like I missed something in my life and didn't feel like a complete man. Bittuji was in his internal thought and RK snapped him and asked him about the shooting location and whether the arrangement for his travel and stay has been done. Yes chief the location is in Shimla and all arrangements are done.
In 3 days the shooting commenced and RK was busy in shooting and reading script. There were many tourist and local residence watching superstar shooting but RK eyes were fixed on two small kids a girl and a boy who just look like same. Bittuji that 2 kids look very beautiful and I think they are twins. Bittuji was little bit surprised because usually his Chief will always give comments about girls this time for a change he is watching kids. After sometime RK resumed with his shooting and the kids also left.
Once the shooting was over for the day. RK informed Bittuji that he is feeling tired and send dinner to his room. In room RK was not able to sleep after the tired day and even after some rounds of drinks and he is only getting the vision of the Kids. RK thought himself, why am I thinking about the kids? I have not even seen them before and why I am feeling attached to them?
In the morning RK was enjoying his cup of coffee with Bittuji by watching the views of the scenery from the balcony of his room. Suddenly his eyes felt on kids who were playing on the play area of the hotel. The small girl was so smart that she was pulling all the toys from the boy and asking him to play in the bicycle which she is now currently not interested. RK and Bittuji laughed and they heard a sound from back the waiter saying sir they are hotel owner grandchildren they always fight like this but they have a very good bonding. RK immediately went to the park to meet the kids. He self-introduced himself to the kids as superstar Rishab Kundra. The girl immediately replied yes we know you we watched all your movies and my mummy loves you a lot but my nana and nani hates you. RK got impressed with her talk and asked them to introduce. The boy said I am Rishikesh and the girl said I am Rishitha and we are twins. RK happily said our first four letters in our names are same so we all be friends and showed his hand for hifi, they hified him and they all started playing and all this was watched silently by Rishikesh and Rishitha mother with happy tears in her eyes.
In next three days they got good bonding with RK. RK spent most of his time with these kids after shooting. Bittuji was surprised to see this side of his chief. One night when they were playing Xbox RK asked Rishitha how come your mother and father allow you to spend time with me. Will they not search for you to spend time with them? No RK uncle my father is not staying with us as he is working in some important business we have not met him once. My mother and my grandparents knows that we are playing with you and my mother gave permission to play with you till you leave and she even ordered the workers not to disturb us when we are together. Oh good we can enjoy a lot than. Didn't you talk with your father once? No uncle we asked mom about him but she always says that our father loves us more and he works far distance. RK understood there is some other reason for their parent to be separated.
As they were playing little Rishikesh got an asthma attack and was having problem in breathing. RK got panicked and he doesn't know what to do. He called Bittuji. By the time Rishitha understood the situation and informed RK that her brother needs an inhaler and it is there in her home. Without even wasting a second RK carried him in his arm to his house which is located in the back side of the hotel. When RK rang the doorbell and was standing much tensed. The door opened and he got another shock that his wife Madhubala is standing in front of him. Madhu ignored the eye contact with RK and got Rishi in her and went to her room. RK reached his room and lied on the couch. He was still in shock and was sweating didn't understand what's happening around him. Chief what happened the workers said you were looking for me and why are you so tensed. Are you not feeling well? RK got from couch and hugged Bittuji. Bittuji Rishikesh and Rishitha are my kids they are born to me and Madhu. Another side Madhu was crying holding her kids.
Flashback from Madhu POV
I was only daughter of Shamsher Malik and Padmini Malik and we lived in Delhi. I loved Rishab from my Teenage. He is the son of Radha aunty and Mohan uncle. As Mohan uncle died in an accident my parents were helping Radha aunty in her business. I and Rishab were very close friends. We share all personal information between us. Rishab use to share about all his girl friends in the collage. I never shared my feelings with Rishab because I know Rishab doesn't love me and also I was in high school little bit scared to share with my parents.
When he completed his college, they planned to move to Mumbai, to start his career in acting. At that time I shared my feelings with Rishab. But he refused to accept my love. He said his goal is to act in movies and achieve the super star position. I shared the same to Radha aunty and my parents they were happy. Radha aunty promised me that once Rishab achieve his goal she will make me as her Bahu. I was so happy. After moving to Mumbai he called only for 3 times and after that he stopped talking to me. In two years Rishab achieved his super star position and changed himself to RK. But for me he is always my love Rishab. Even though Rishab didn't accept my love, the love for him never decreased and it increased as passion to make him mine. Whenever I see news about his character and relation with his girlfriend's my heart skipped but Radha aunty consoled me. After I completed my studies in Hotel management my parents wanted my marriage to happen and they discussed with Radha aunty. Radha aunty was so happy and she replied that she will talk to Rishab about the marriage date and then they both will come to Delhi for further preparation.
Two weeks passed. I don't know how I spend those weeks. I am going to meet Rishab after six years. I know in 6 years' my features have changed. From others compliment I know I'm beautiful and also will be a good pair for Rishab. Morning I made the room a big mess for selecting a dress. My parents enjoyed seeing all my craziness and were so happy. When I heard the car honk I ran down the stairs to meet my Rishab. I got shocked when I saw Radha aunty was standing alone with her head down. I felt something is wrong and moved near to her immediately she hugged me and cried. She told me that Rishab refused to marry me and he doesn't have interest in marriage. I got numb I don't know what to do I just went to my room and lied down on my bed. After half an hour later aunty came to my room. She sobbed and said, He has changed a lot he is not Rishab he is RK. It's good you are not marrying him you please move on, for your beauty and status you will get a very good life partner. I didn't reply anything and asked her to leave me alone for some time. I felt like my dreams are shattered. I lived with him in the dream; it's not a crush for him it's a love for him for 8 years. I felt like there is no one for me to live more. In that moment I forgot my parents and cut my wrist with the knife. I was immediately rushed to the hospital.
When I opened my eyes I felt guilty to face my parents. To leave them for a person who doesn't love me. Radha aunty came near me and caressed my face and said Madhu next week your marriage is fixed. You don't worry. Not only your dream shattered even my dream of making you as a bahu is shattered. My father cut Radha aunty and said if Rishab is not interested we will not proceed. No papa I want to marry him. I believe one day he will accept me.
The marriage day came. When I saw Rishab face in Mandap, I understood how much aunty would have emotionally blackmailed him to marry me. I didn't dream my wedding will happen this way without any love. But I was happy that he will be mine forever.
Flashback from RK POV
I hate this day. I am not only interested in marrying Madhu and wouldn't marry any girl. I don't want any commitment in life. I want to live my life on my own and with many girls and not with one woman throughout the life. Everyone says I am a Casanova, yes I love that life. Because of Madhu's suicide attempt and my mother emotional blackmail I need to marry her. I hate you Madhubala to force my life into which I didn't like. I will never in my life love you.
After all the rituals they reached Mumbai in the evening.
Flashback from Madhu POV
RK entered the sugahraat room which was decorated with flowers and scented candles. When he saw me in the bed his anger arose and started throwing things all-around the room. I got scared seeing this face of Rishab and tried to talk to him but he dragged me out of the room and closed the door in front of my face. Radha aunty who was witnessing all said we have to give time for Rishab.
Three months passed but our relation didn't improve it got worse. He talks only with Radha aunty that too very less formal talk. For him I never exist in the house. I married him with a determination that I will change him. But he was going far from me. Whenever Radha aunty talks for me, it will end in a big argument. He started living in farm house with his girlfriend Deepali. I know he doesn't love Deepali and definitely he will change her when he finds a new girl. Whatever happened in our life is all because of my love for him. I understood that I can't force my love on him. Tomorrow is Rishab birthday. I have to talk with him tonight after the party and make decision so that he can live his life from tomorrow. I informed Radha aunty about my decision, first she didn't accept but for the welfare of everyone she accepted and promised me she will talk to Rishab and take care of him.
As soon as I reached the party venue my eyes searched for my Rishab. Just then I heard a husky voice from my back. Why did you come here? To stop my party! I told him I want to talk before that I want to wish before completing my sentence Deepali dragged him to the front and wished him happy birthday and passionately kissed his lips. Rishab kissed her back smirking at me to make me more jealous. I stood there numb and I felt like shivering inside but I didn't want him to see my weakness. Putting all my courage I wiped my tears and went to Rishab and asked him are you done with your kissing? I need to talk. Both their jaws dropped in shock and Rishab followed me to his bedroom.
He pulled me by my waist and pinned to the wall and asked what do want Madhubala? You have made my life miserable. My mother hates me and she doesn't talk with me. After doing everything what do you want to talk? I showed him the divorce paper and told him that I want to free him from the relation and give back his life. Past 10 years I loved you with whole heartedly but in the three months I understood you will never love me and also I don't want Radha aunty to suffer for this. I know how much you love your mother and for her only you married me. I don't want you to be separated. Rishab laughed and said atlast you found it is your mistake. Please sign the paper and get out. I smiled and said I understood all mistake are mine but I am still the same Madhubala who do anything for her love. I loved you a lot. Legally we have married but we didn't have any husband and wife relation. So to end this relation I want to first complete my married life. To sign this paper you have to make love to me as a husband.
Flashback from RK POV
I was shocked for some minute and thought is she mad to spend one night together and give divorce. She knows very well. I am not going to change my mind even after spending this night. Then why she is doing this. I confirmed with her whether she has any back plan. Then I confirmed her okay Madhubala let we both be practical. I will spend time with you. As you said may be I will be your Patti for you and for me you will be one of my girl friend. She replied with a smile.
I carried her to the bed in my arms. I observed her from head to toe. Oh god she is beautiful than my entire girlfriend's. She has good features with a silky skin. I removed her jewels and we both stripped our clothes. I kissed her every part of the body. I can see the passion in her eyes which I didn't see the same in other girls eye. After a passionate love making I entered her to pass the seeds into her womb.
Next day morning I was sleeping alone in bed and she was not there. I saw the signed divorce paper on the side table. My phone rang it was from my mother she asked me to come back home and everything will be fine as before.
Present in Shimla
RK woke up with hangover and he was not able to forget the faceoff with Madhu last night. Chief here is your medicine for hangover and your breakfast. If you do not like to stay can I book the ticket for us to Mumbai? Bittuji did you find how Rishikesh is feeling now. Yeah chief he is fine and I saw him playing in the morning. Chief I want to tell you something the girl Rishitha face looks similar to you and not only that her anger is same like here papa. Rishab laughed hearing the comments about his children. I know Bittuji from the day starting I was feeling some attachment to the kids but I didn't except I will be the father for them. First I will go and meet them and then will take them for shopping and will buy some gifts for them.
RK entered Malik Mansion and enquired the servant the whereabouts of the family members. Malik sir and Padmini mam has gone for the conference and Madhu mam and her children are at home. Sir please take your seat I will inform them. Within some time Rishitha and Rishikesh came running down the stair saying Hi Uncle! and hugged RK. This was the best moment of RK life but little sadness that his kids are calling him uncle. Rishitha said uncle actually we were planning to come and meet you but mom said you are busy in shooting and not to disturb. RK caressed rishitha cheeks and said there is nothing busier than you both. Today is my last day of shooting in Shimla and I have to go to shooting by 6PM. Till then I want to spend time with you. RK went near Madhu and faced her with guilt. He does not know how to face her. Madhu I am leaving tomorrow morning to Mumbai So I want to take them for shopping if you permit. Rishitha and Rishikesh got excited. But RK they both don't eat outside food and it is already lunch time so it's better you all finish lunch and go in the afternoon. Till then you can spend time with them in home. I assure that there will be no disturbance for you at home. RK felt happy that Madhu allowed him to spend time with his children. Rishitha pulled RK to their room. Uncle come fast I want to show all our toys.
The kid's room was too big room one side half is painted in Pink and other half in blue. There were many portrait pictures of them. Rishikesh showed Malik and Padmini picture and said this is my nana and nani and showed another picture with Radha and said this is my dadi. RK got another shock. His mother staying with him and never ever talked about his children. RK turned to Madhu side with a confused look with lot of question in his mind. But again he was pulled by his son to show all his video games. All three enjoyed playing and at the same time RK and Madhu had the eye contact whenever they had a chance. After sometime RK can't hold it and went near Madhu to talk to her. But before he start there was a voice from back side Madam the food is ready. RK the food is ready please come and have lunch and then you can go outing with them. In the Dining table Madhu served RK with all his favorites food. RK was happy that Madhu still remembers his likings. Then she started feeding both the kids. As a happy family they enjoyed the lunch.
Once they reached the car after well dressed up Rishitha and Rishikesh face gone down and this was very well noticed by RK. Why are you sad? Uncle we are little bit nervous as we never gone out without mom. Who will take us to loo and feed food. RK smiled at his kids and understood that they need their mother. This time he is little bit relaxed after the time spent in the morning and lunch. Madhu I know how much you will be emotion and in pain. Even though they like to talk and play with me. Still they see me as a stranger. Please come. Madhu looked at her kids face and accepted RK request as she doesn't want her kids to be sad. After dressing up Madhu came down wearing a Jean and white top. RK was not able to take off his eye from her and thought to himself even after 2 kids she looks the same.
After they got into the car, they started the first journey as a family to the shopping center. When RK and his kids were enjoying listening to music, Madhu thought to herself am I doing right. I didn't say no to him when he asked me to spend time with my children. For 6 years he didn't think about me but today he wants to be with them. How can I say no to him? I still love him. To mend my relationship I will do anything for his love.
RK called Bittuji and asked him to meet there with his bodyguards so that he will be free from his fans. He bought everything what all his children wanted. He doesn't want to disappoint them. Then they went to ice-cream parlor and then they played some mall games. RK its time for your shooting Madhu reminded him. RK face got sad and this was noticed by Madhu and Bittuji. To overcome the situation Bittuji said chief why can't we take them to shooting? It's only 1 hour work. RK was happy that he can spend some more time with them and again he looked Madhu for her permission. Madhu smiled and said yes we can go. Rishitha and Rishikesh enjoyed the shooting. Once the shooting over Madhu herself asked RK shall we go for dinner? This surprised RK because he also wants to have dinner with them but he doesn't want to take permission again from Madhu. After returning from dinner Rishitha and Rishikesh slept in the car. There was a silence in car. Madhu carried Rishikesh and RK carried Rishitha to their bed room. After laying both of them in bed RK again got a fear that he has to leave the kids. He felt so happy and completed today. He got all the flashback of the time spent in shopping, ice-cream parlor, shooting and dinner. Same time Madhu is also feeling bad that she is going to miss her Rishab again. This is the day which she dreamt for long to spent time with Rishab.
RK heard the sobbing sound from Madhu and neared her. Immediately Madhu tried to move out from there so that he doesn't see her emotion and tears. RK pulled her from back and entangled her around her waist. Madhu I want to talk with you please give me a chance. Madhu I know I hurted you a lot. Only today I understood the meaning of family. Till I come to Shimla I have spent my life with many girls but I didn't get the happiness which I got today. Initially we were very good friends. When you proposed me I felt like you are same like other girls. I distanced myself from you. After all that you forced me for marriage which I hated you more. Because of our relationship I had problem with my mother and I moved out of the house. This made me hated you more. When you were ready to give the divorce on condition I was ready to do that because I hate you so much and I want to get rid of you at any cost. As sex is not a big problem for me, I accepted to make love with you. After I broke your virgin barrier I didn't hate you that time. I felt pity for you. Why you loved me so much. You would have gone and married some handsome rich guy. Why you want to complete the marriage with me. Madhu immediately replied It's because I love you Rishab I can't give the place to any other person. My love for you made me to hope that one day you will definitely accept me. There was silence in the room. Tears were rolling on her cheeks. But Madhu I can't love you as you love me. I don't have any feelings for you as a wife. In one day I can't tell you that I love you. I love my kids. I love you as my children mother. I want them for my entire life. If you trust me and give me some time I promise to love you, to commit to you and be faithful to you in my entire life. Madhu hugged RK and cried whole heartedly and said I have waited for your love for 16 years Rishab but still I love you and I will wait for you ever. They end the night with a forehead kiss.
Epilogue
After the reunion RK returned with Madhu and his kids to Mumbai. Rishitha and Rishikesh were happy to know that RK was their father. As he promised he didn't take more time to fall in love with her. He only took three months. They married again with all rituals accepting each other with whole love.
