1. Kuttu ke atte ki poori, paratha or puritanical roti
This is the specialty of Navratri season. Kuttu atta or flour is made from the seeds of the buckwheat. Don't go by its looks. Stuffed with spices and with healthy dollops of ghee, the roti is veritable feast to the taste buds.
2. Aloo Kichdi
Aloo Kichdi is special Navratri Food item, prepared and savored by most of the fast observing Hindus. Aloo Kichdi, also known as Aloo Pulao is prepared using Samwat Rice and Aloo. Rock salt is used for taste instead of regular powdered salt to make the Aloo kichdi during Navratri Season.
3. Aloo sabudana ki tikki

4. Dal Stuffed Puri
In some communities, people undergo rigorous fasts during Navratri that lasts for all the nine days of the festival. Navami. On this day, Kanya Puja is performed. Nine young girls, representing the nine forms of Goddess Durga, are worshiped. Their feet are washed as a mark of respect for the Goddess and then they are offered food, including dal stuffed Puri, channa and Halwa.

Navratri Vrat Kadi is prepared using Carrot Koftas, which looks great in Yoghurt. Beet Root Koftas can be used in place of Carrot Koftas to make this kadi.
7. Shakarkandi ki chaat
Shakarkandi ki chaat is also immensely in demand. Shakarland is sweet potatoes. It is chopped, sliced, spiced added and eaten raw. The mixture is called Chaat.
8. Kele Ke Kofte
During Navratri devotees eat only one meal a day, at sunset, which is devoid of grains. One recipe that is popularly eaten by people during Navratri fast is Kele Ke Kofte, which is made with raw banana. The recipe is very easy to cook and tasty to eat.
9. Kaddu Ki Sabzi
Kaddu ki sabzi is one popular recipe prepared on Navratri. Liked by most of the people, it is perfect in case of Navratri fast, in which grains and vegetables are not allowed. 10. Navratri Raita
