Seriously, Prashant Bhatt should take a break and start watching shows on other channels..Zindagi , SP, Sab etc. etc.

The article really should have avoided including MEIEJ - which has had consecutive mass-appalling primary *unromantic* tracks closed with viewership-lack -
for 17+ months, and assuredly for the last 3-4 months the article especially refers to.

Despite such a litany of tracks sledgehammeringly forcefeeding attempts against provenly consistent mass-audience sensibilities, *and* zero TV-promos for 3 months,
the lead-pairing managed to never go below the 1+ TRP range and stayed within the channel's fictional line-up's general TRP 0+ to 2+ viewership-ratings.

That's the biggest achievement possible to credit to a pairing's mass-popularity.

Two major errors in the article -

1) MEIEJ started in May 2012, *not* June 2012.

2) MEIEJ has *not* had love tracks as focus since March 2013 to August 2014.

Lack of TRP can be credited accordingly to the channel's consistent attempts in every consecutive track to split the mass-popular lead-couple and replace/downgrade the male-lead.

If tracks are focussed on showing the male lead as either villainous or helpless, to try to separate the lead-couple and shift focus onto solitary triumphant female-lead,
then the pairing's chemistry has no chance of salvaging the mess.

They even showed the marital rape track and the wife taking the matter to court.
Did they really think mass-audience are fools to think that was a romance being shown?

With a mass-popular couple, *romance* tracks *are* watched.

*Not* retroactive inaccurate *claims* about the series *supposedly* having had romantic tracks (by the most bizarrely new definition of 'romantic'),
to deny the actual appallingly *unromantic* tracks flopping month after month for 17+ months with sterling viewership-lack of enough millions of people interested in foreseeably mass-appalling tracks.
