That messy beard looks awful especially with the messy hair!!, but I remember when he was Rk he used to look handsome even with beard, especially when wearing that black pullover with a combed hair !!!! If he is doing it for some ritual or religious belief, he should trim it at least he will look better

With trimmed beard, combed hair, good clothes , there is a big difference!

Now just compare the pic in the previous post with this one!!

I agree that the dehati accent and the beard were a put off, and I agree Rk was the most interesting thing in MIEIEJ!! looks + personality!

But as long as VD is concerned, he is a hunk at least when he takes care of himself and I still think he can give very good expressions! see these avis even if they are from Raja's era, he looked very handsome, and he gave good expressions!

I Know we aren't over the trauma of MEIEJ2, that's why you feel this way, If I knew story would turn this way, I would have never been happy of VD comeback, actually seeing post leap and Ak I never wanted him to come back but when he came back and we heard about AS and ST split I had some hope but see what we got Babaji Ka thulu!!!

Hi guys..I hope some of u here still remember me...

So finally we won't have DVD gracing our screens at 8:30 mon to sat..I hv mixed feelings today..I'm happy n sad too..happy that now there won't be any more butchering to my fav show..MEIEJ season 1 still holds a very special place in my heart n season 2 I never cared about...was tolerating all the BS from makers n CVs only because of my fav DVD so I'm happy that I won't have to tolerate the torture any more..but at the same time I'm very sad for all the lost opportunities..this serial was class apart at one time but was butchered so mercilessly..MEIEj could have been a different story altogether..with such great actors n sizzling chemistry of leads it could have made history but arrogance n politics ruined it!!!

But I'm still thankful for this show as this introduced me the forum and this thread..I will miss all the discussions here on EDT..it was so good read different takes on an epi.

Thank you all the EDT members who kept it alive till the end👏

Hi da..after MB i din find any show that interest me half as much as MEIEJ until recently when i watched Zindagi Gulzar hai..its on a different level altogether its just 26 epis but it will stay with you for a long long time...the chemistry between the leads the acting characters story concept production value everything is just class apart ..none of our Indian soaps can match up to it.. & Fawad Khan (male lead) will have u swooning over him in no time..though it ended in july but Zindagi is airing it again because of the huge response..it will air from 13th august 7:10 pm IST

If u love romance genre with a strong story backed with superb acting then give it a try

its the only show where I saw a very strong female lead..only female lead I fell in love with..

So to all my EDT friends here I strongly recommend you to give ZGH a try..it will help u great deal to get over MEIEJ ..it helped me!!!

I watched it too and I recommend it, it's very nice, light hearted, realistic and the female lead is a strong woman that you will admire a lot!

Interactions between the hero and heroines are worth watching!!
