Drashti Dhami is one of the most recognizable faces on Indian television. It is no wonder that brands want to cash in her popularity for their product endorsement. Recently Drashti Dhami was made the brand ambassador for SoColor', the hair color brand from MATRIX India. The popular actor will be part of the brand's new promotional campaign titled Color with Confidence.' Drashti will be seen in a new avatar in the campaign unlike ever before. She is very excited to be a part of this new venture. Drashti said, "I'm most excited to be part of creating and showcasing the latest cut and colour looks from the brand." Soon after the official announcement was made by MATRIX India, the actor took to the social networking site Twitter and shared the news with her fans.
The unique look in which Drashti Dhami will be seen in the campaign, has been developed by using a technique called Caramel Twist. The technical and artistic teams of MATRIX were behind this development. This new look will focus on an interplay between the different tones (light and dark) of SoColor's brown shades. The idea behind this technique came from the twist with two tones concept.
The actor is mostly seen in simple looks in her acting roles. But in one of the photos from the campaign, Drishti is seen in a luscious hairdo, accompanied by a stunning black dress and smoky eye makeup. Drishti Dhami explained her look by saying, "The shades of SoColor have been designed to complement Indian skin tones and work on our naturally dark hair. I would recommend SoColor for both everyday wearable hair color and for a stunning, head turning look." It has been learnt that during the course of the campaign many more exciting, trend setting looks will be introduced by the brand. Monalisa Dowerah, the Marketing Manager of MATRIX India, said, "We are confident that our audience will love seeing their favourite TV star in the new looks that she will showcase for the brand."
Drishti Dhami is currently seen in the popular show Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon' in a leading role. She recently won Best Actress (Critics) award at 2014 Zee Gold Awards. She has also appeared in shows like Dill Mill Gayye' and Geet - Hui Sabse Parayi.' The former show was extremely popular among younger audiences. Apart from her fiction work, she also won the 6th season of dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.'
