Chapter 1
Classifields
Zipping my bag, I quickly hurried out of the house. This daily route from home to college then college to home was hectic. My problem was that the college I was in, was a prestigious one, but a little far away from my house. There was an option to live in the college dorm, I had lived there too, but some unpleasant and heartbreaking circumstances led me to move back to my parent's house.
I mentally cringed at the memories when I found my boyfriend in bed with my roomie, Ria. And that was when I dumped him and move back, the wound is still fresh because it was just two days ago, when my trust was broken and stabbed! Tears stung my eyes, threatening to spill. I quickly wiped them with the back of my hand and stepped inside the Campus, realizing at the moment that I actually reached college.
Taking a deep breath, I put on a strong face and started walking inside when I heard,
"Madhu!" I grimaced. I didn't want to meet him first thing in the morning, My whole day is ruined. But you are strong; you can face this, come on, Madhu!
"Yeah!" I said and shot an irritated expression towards him.
"Madhu, listen. That day.."
"I don't want to listen anything about that day, It's over, we are no more together! Now you can freely sleep with Ria, no one is going to stop you."
"Madhu, you putting all the blame on me like that, don't you think you were a fault too..?"
"Oh Yeah! How? Please elaborate"
"You never wanted to get get physical with me, whenever I tried making a move you would back up with dozens of excuses. You barely kissed me, just 2 pecks! That's all! A guy has needs Madhu!"
"That doesn't means you will cheat on me behind my back. Why you proposed to me in the first place, I never got physical with you because I didn't wanted too, I never felt passionate with you. I never kissed you because it made me uncomfortable"
"Let me see now how you get a guy after this, no one spares even a look at you Madhubala! "
"I don't need any guy, I am happy being single! And for your information I have my share of guys ogling at me, now you just shut up" I now realized how high the pitch of my voice. With that I quickly turned back to prevent him seeing my teary eyes and thinking me of as a weakling.

"Madhu! Dear! What happened?"
"Nothing Trish!" I said quickly dismissing her.
"It is that Mukund Guy again, isn't it, I am seriously going to kill that cheater!"
"No! No! Trish, nothing. Don't bring up that wrenched creature up again. I am happy we are no longer together!"
"I can see that"
"So, let's just forget him and move to the next class before the bell rings"
"Yeah! Right, but promise me that you will never cry or I will murder that.."
"Trish, I promise not to. I don't want to see you behind the bars. Trust me, it isn't worth it" I said suddenly all the anger vanishing inside me. Trishna was my best friend and just being with her lifted my spirits up.

I was relieved when the final bell rang. Miss Samson's lecture was going above my head. Quickly packing my things I headed out. It was a 3 day holiday because of some festival, which I Didn't know, what came next was the string of "Goodbyes" "Will miss you" and hugs. I mentally rolled my eyes at this, Come on you will meet on the fourth day, people!
On my way back home, I heard some soft, soothing music. Suddenly captivated by it, I followed the sound and landed in front of a Dance studio. Salsa classes were going on. Curiosity took the better of me, and I opened the door a little to take a peek.
What I saw left me in Awe. Couple were performing in a row and they were beautiful, to say the least. They were very sensuous, and it made me feel giddy form inside. There was an overwhelming urge inside me to dance like this, but, and a big but, I don't have a partner, And I will definitely not dance with that cheat!
Closing the door I started walking back deep in thoughts when my eyes suddenly landed on something, It was a big advertisement for a Residency that was soon to be built. Of course I didn't had anything to do with it, but it was then I decided that I will find any PG or room close to the Campus, anyhow. It was physically exhausting to go to the College from my home.

Sipping the coffee I was sitting on my bed, going through the Classifieds, hoping to find something good, but it has been 12 minutes and I haven't found anything yet. I have called at least 16 times, but nothing good. Shuffling the papers, an ad suddenly caught my eyes.

-Spacious, has all necessities.

Reflexively, I dialed the number. The Phone kept on ringing, as I was about to cut the call, I heard a melodious voice.
"Hello?"
