Hi friends,
I missng DVD a lot on sundays. I didnt expect they will make me so addicted to them.
Well, while watching the season 2 of madhubala, i was trying to reflect the reasons for the hatred, love, passion, emotions etc between the lead characters.
Madhu:
1. a simple girl brought up with lots of fun, love around her. She was taught only to love and she was never amongst blood shed.
2. Suddenly married to a special child. She had pity for him. In order to save him she accepted him as her husband. It was that pity for raju and his condition which made her accept the marriage, not out of love for him. But of course madhu liked the innocence of raju, but was not in love with him.
3. The next shock of life was raju coming as raja.
4. Every time she was forced by raja in everything like forcefully taking her home, the rasams, raja forcing her to accept his love and his family.
5. Madhu always had lower hand in the relation. Never her feelings were given space.
6. She has always been a prey to raja's physical strength every time.
7. In a way she is like father rk, never surrendering to his threats. (I feel this is the only serial where the heroine doesn't fall to the trap and rather allow things as it goes and is ready to move on and fight the threat in all possible ways.)
8. Her strong belief that they both belong to different paths and they are two railyway track which can never meet.
9. Her frustration that she has lost in her search for raju in raja.
10. Her belief that raja and his family can never respect her as an individual and as a women.
Raja:
1. When he was raju, his belief that madhu was there for him and in her words.
2. when he became raja, his fight for madhu and himself with AK for the way he treated them.
3. A person who doesn't neither think once before killing anyone nor repent for his deeds.
4. He believes that madhu took good care of him and protected him from AK, hence he is in love with her. Its his gratitude for madhu's care for him, which he calls it as love for madhu.
5. He is always immediate in action, never has the patience to think whether what he does is right or wrong.
6. His family background where they believe men are always superior than women. So men have all rights on their wives.
7. His belief in achieving anything by money and power.
8. He always has upper hand in the relationship between madhu and himself.
9. His prone ness to fall a prey to his anger. Once he is poked upon his ego by bhanu and his family members, there is immediate action on his side to avenge that ego.
10. His nature of being in extremes; whether love or hatred. Never does he thinks and acts balanced.
Both the lead pairs has never felt the real essence of love.
In a husband and wife relation, there must be equal space for each other, respect each other's feelings, thoughts and pains, not forcing each other's whims and fancies on each other, never allow a third person in between them, give time for the relation, not wanting immediate results for the love they shower on the other.
But in our rajbala case, both of them are at flaw,
raja wants immediate reaction from rani for the love (according to him) he showers on her, accept everything about him and his family, always wants rani to be the way he wants, always wants to show in front of his family that his wife is under him only and she listen's to every word of his. Similarly rani is also no less to raja. She tried every possible to way to fulfill her wish of leaving raja. She tried running away, pleading him to leave her, challenging him and all possible way. When thing go out of limit, she starts saying that raja says he loves her, but does not act otherwise, where she always wants to prove raja that her stand about him (jungli and janwar) is right.
In fact, i feel that exactly now only the real story of rajbala has started. They have a reason to hate each other. Slowly they will also fall in love with each other (how? the CVs can only tell us). When they understand that they are one soul in two bodies, that day, our old rishbala (may be even more) days will be back, where we sit back and enjoy this show. Till then, we have to wait and i am still positive about the way the story is progressing. Rajbala will also be treat to our entertainment.
So friends, thanks for being patient enough with this post and request you to add any more reasons for rajbala's story of hatred (at present).
