I don't know why I remembered these lines when I started writing for this week's Spa! We wanted our DVD back together and we got them as Raja and Rani! But the characters and story has gone to an extent that it looks nafrat bari kahani! Again DVD excel in love hate stories! But the rape track, court room drama have taken it to very extremes.

Last week story had court room drama. For the first time, MB had a good courtroom scenes with good actors as lawyers. But it was abruptly concluded. When Raja seemed to have one extra

Idea to win over madhu, I was expecting something more. But it was as simple as kidnapping Dida! Wht is so smart about it! Raja who masterminded AK's murder is nowhere to be seen. This Raja seems to be listening to sly Bhanu whom he has never trusted. He knows Bhanu is not the right person and he is also responsible for his parents' death. So how come suddenly he is listening to all his dumb advice.

Why Madhu dint tell the judge about Dida's kidnapping in court is a wonder. May be she was worried about her life! Now Bittuji is also in, thanx to Raja Bhanu combo. One good thing is JM does not gives in (bt I don't like the fact that she has not done nothing concrete other than giving bashans) bt files for divorce.

This week, I am sorry to say, JM again disappointed me. Being angry all the time is so very tiring. I agree she is a victim, she has reason to be angry at Raja. But she is being shown irrational in anger. And dumb too! Isn't she educated enough to realize that she cannot get divorce at one application. I am sorry to say Raja voiced out my irritation in sat episode.

Only one thing giving me hope is DVD together in one place and that is not in RK mansion (I am sick of that place) with tauji n Bhanu n Agni! I dint wnt Madhu to be illtreated by all n sundry. I may be upset with JM chr bt I don't wnt her to spoken bad or illtreated by that family. I don't think LW will dare to do anything with Raja around. So we have only Raja n Rani fighiting with each other.

But look at the situation which has brought them in opposite sides. Raja who seemed to be so much in love with his Rani, now hates her. Some of us were questioning did he really love her. If so he wd have understood her point of view. I think Raja did love her whole heartedly. Though he was brought up in chauvinistic family, he did give importance to madhu n her feelings. JM, if she had been a smarter girl, would have turned the situation to her advantage. But JM seemed only to show that she is much more smarter n sophisticated than Junglee Raja! She just wanted to get out of the place. Just get away! She ws never shown as the smart individual she was in Mathura. That unique chr of JM went missing! That is the saddest thing for me!

Should a rape victim accept the love of her rapist!!! Is it really a love that would force a girl?

I think this has been the practice shown in movies to tame unwilling women to marry and which has been practiced in some rural villages! No self respecting women would agree to this travesty. I am with JM in this point!

But CVs have succeeded in showing Raja not fully a villain. Inspite of his raping, they have tried to make him more human who doesn't evn realize the impact of his crime. They have succeeded in showing him as a criminal of circumstances not of evil intentions. That is a success in itself. Bt it has come at a very high price. I mean we cdnt relate to the victim in few scenes inspite of all our sympathies. That is a very high price indeed!

All said n done, I might have problem with the execution, but the major focus was to have Raja n Rani hating each other in same house. CVs succeeded on that. I am looking forward to next week track which wd focus more on them n their hate story. Pls no other dumb tracks. And CVs plsss no janwar dialogues! Kameena is all fine! Not janwar!

P.S: one thing I noticed is inspite of flaws, RK n Madhubala pair has become sooo popular, even DVD couldn't beat that pairing with their new pairing of Raja n Rani. May be I should wait n see how their story evolves.
