If they don't restart JM's disgusted attitude on the snobbish-looking 'gawaar' theme (that family is more likely to get mass-support than JM's suddenly cosmopolitan untraditional persona),
and just focus on getting the lead couple to soften towards each other and reconcile fast - with mutual understanding, regard and care rather than one-sided harping on progressive ideas (that can be unreassuringly sure of not getting enough millions of viewership) -,
the suggested new track should work out in rebuilding mass-viewership well enough.
The only concern is whether they'll opt for the tried-and-succeeded route, or whether they yet again opt for their preferred ideas that always end up with inadequate massive viewership.
We might actually not be sure to get viewership-crash then, if the track avoids blundering after so very many months.
Fingers crossed, rather than ensuring any progressive idea sure to fail, just hope they choose sensibly for a mass-appealingly presented track this time.

And whensoever Bhanu is exposed for having caused Baiji's death to make JM look bad, the lead couple would have a clear support with Dauji and probably a guiltridden Agni as well, ensuring a mass-acceptable family-structure with Dauji and Radha as the elders.
Dysfunctional families are anyway a MEIEJ norm.

Just hope Bittuji and his family are shown as little as possible.

Posting this here since she's the female lead of MEIEJ, and the hosting was alongside MEIEJ.
And it seems mean and uncoordinated of the channel to make this sort of change known to host and/or public at the last moment before the weekend JDJ episode.

Nautanki Films' Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon fame Drashti Dhami is ruling her audiences heart by her show. But alas, there is a not so great news for all Drashti's fans out there. This pretty petite and gorgeous lady' journey as a host of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa comes to an end.

Drashti went on record and posted on her twitter, "Tweepies - my journey at Jhalak comes to an end. Thank u all for ur love & support :-)"

This time around too, she does not cease and fail to praise her fans. She thanks them for the constant love that they have bestowed on her.

The news of Drashti being replaced as a host of Jhalak was doing the rounds for quite some time. But the real question is who will be the next pick as the co-host of the show.

When contacted Drashti to know more about the news, this what she had to say. "It was communicated to me last night by the channel that I was getting replaced. While it's unfortunate that my stint had to end so quick & abruptly, honestly I had a great time. Back on the Jhalak set where I truly belong. Nonetheless it's over for me now & I would like to wish all the contestants & the channel all the very best."

Well, Drashti we wish you all the luck for all that you do in future.

The upcoming Colors new 10pm series male lead has apparently felt it best to clarify that his series is not the one that may oust MEIEJ.

It will be on air at 10PM while #Uttaran will be at 10:30 pm.

Isn't it clear by Promos that #MeriAashiqui will come at 10pm... 😆

While Colors separate MEIEJ page belatedly switched to the current montage, they have kept the black-background profile-pic (from the stopgap montage-arrangement after the 'AK'-exit) and GU's name still listed as the male lead.
Hadn't noted how quickly changes had been effected on that page after the leap in the series, when VD's name was removed as the male lead.
But apparently the page is willing to be imprudently blatant enough to shortcircuit any denials by channel management about adverse bias against VD as MEIEJ's male lead.

The tweet is specific that his serial won't be causing any serial's ouster - 'Uttaran' will be shifted to 10.30, and his new series has nothing to do with MEIEJ.
