Bahnni, the channel - at least as indicated by its abysmal total viewership - is getting proportionately far more reactions online. Offline viewership has gone from briefly lapsed to longtime lapsed.
If the channel gets from its current situation to having all its serials into the 2+ and 3+ spectrums, they may actually be reasonably expected to celebrate.
Majority-audience viewers who get used to not seeing what they want on one or most or all serials on a channel - whether the tracks are disinteresting or displeasing to their sensibilities - start switching to other channels. And they don't even come online to complain. So on the rare occasions when a channel sooner or later gives in to a fandom on some point, it's usually after a bit of time of that audience-lack of not enough millions of viewers hitting revenue via sponsors for that screentime.
Fortunately for MEIEJ, may or may not be a pyrrhic thing, but we are in the same boat as the channel's total viewership-amounts.
Every serial's each telecast track is either the channel's own idea or permitted by the channel. So if a few serials fail, and some succeed, then the flaw is in the serials. But if it's more across the board, then the channel's connect with majority-audience and the necessary staggering viewership it brings may also be in an unreassuring situation.
completely agree with what you've said Leela 👍🏼...for a channel who's mass viewership has taken a battering and that's for all its shows bar one(CNWK),online promotion may be one of the only strategies left to retain the existing viewers. What I fail to understand is why are all shows of Colors failing so miserably in the broad context? Its not that the offerings from other channels are any better tbh!! Time to change those at the helm of affairs in the head office 😆 not the shows😉
