Rape Track as an Elaborate Dream Sequence - Page 3

There is much that I agree with in this topic. What I don't agree with is that just to save a fav jodi, such a issue as rape is trivialized by showing some kind of a "workaround" to show that it didn't happen, it was a dream or something.

They should not have touched the issue just to make a mockery of it . Now that they have raised it, that ass abhinav shukla should grow some guts and see it through to the end. Show jm fighting a hard battle, raja using his devious mind to try and stay out of jail. Show madhu winning and getting justice. So what if vd plays a villain? Don't his fans have enough faith in his abilities to do justice to it? So what if you don't get eye locks and romance between these two? If they turn it into an interesting and strong story, wouldn't it be worth watching even if its without the usual hero and heroine falling in love and happy ever after at the end?

@BOLD why would VD play a negative role?? hasn't he played enough shades already...more than what any other top actor has done so far(of course appreciated for all his roles) that doesn't mean he has to play something he is not comfortable with...and he is one of the top-rated actors today...which lead actor you have seen playing a villain??
you think VDians will be upset about Rajbala not being a pair?? trust me Rajbala never existed for Vdians and can never exist too!!bring someone else for Madhu and get VD out...thats it

What is a hero in an indian show? Is he someone who does predominantly heroic/good things or is he the guy who does kuch bhi but is classified the hero because he romances the heroine and she falls in love with him? If there is a ph strong enough to take it on, they should offer vd a role without a female lead! A lots of VDians can't bear to see vd playing a villian. His character always has to be the hero/lead and lead equal the guy who gets teh girl, no matter what the character does. If raja has raped, then I thought there is no whitewashing it, and having the heroine fall in love with him. Seems I was wrong. Apparantly there are at least 3 old shows where the male rapes his wife and the wife is shown to fall in love with him🤢 Chances are very high shulka will show the same.

No to both😆. I stopped watching when they continued to glorify abuse as ishq, junoon and dewwangi as more and more the trp viewers have done.

Oh and trps still slip slip sliding away from the time of rishbala wedding. Wayyy wayyy wayyy below where the parallel lead had taken them to. Is this vd bashing? No.

@panthera many other actors were out of work from TV shows and free at the moment..and if not MB, VD would have taken another show..do you think the show offers will come flowing even for a top rated actor..it will take months to get or to chose a better role for them.I hope you know this

first you think VDians brought him back to the show...you know nothing then...it was the DVDians all along...😆
second Hero of Indian daily soap is the one to whom the audience can relate..whom they love(he might be grey or completely black) but majority viewers root for him no matter what
third you think he dint get offers huh!! he rejected many as he himself said none of them excite him...as a VD-fan we know he doesn't take up any shit that comes his way like many others who dont find anything and jump at the first offer that comes to them..😉after playing epic characters like Abhay Raichand and Rishabh Kundra he has to go with the best in his next project..he is Vivian Dsena after all..he has a standard to maintain...he returned to MB because of his fans and his close friend AS...that is why he has to play a poorly sketched character🥱
