TV stars Vivian Dsena and Drashti Dhami work together but apparently can't stand each other

Looks like the cold war on the sets of Madhubala " Ek Ishq Ek Junoon between telly stars Vivian Dsena (who essays RK) and Drashti Dhami (who plays the title role) has intensified.

Though they are cast opposite each other, they have not been on talking terms and they mind their own business on the sets. The buzz is that despite a zero personal equation, they however behave like professionals when shooting.

In March this year, Vivian had returned to the show barely two months after walking out of it after a generation leap. Speculation was rife that he was paid handsomely to return to the show as its popularity was dipping. Though the soap is not as popular as it was when it began two years ago, the two telly stars have a lot of fans who follow the show.

Says a unit source, "Ever since Vivian returned to the show, it has become an ego issue between them. When Vivian asks for date adjustments, Drishti comes up with her demands. The resentment between them has risen multifold. Vivian feels that the show is on air because of him, while Drashti feels that as the protagonist, the show owes it to her. Moreover, she feels that he did a volte-face --Vivian returned to the show after quitting it. And despite his alleged tantrums, he was given a fee hike. This is something she can't seem to digest. She didn't think that he would return to the show."

Adds the source, "Vivian and Drashti just could not stand each other from Day One on the sets. They would keep out of each others' way and avoid rehearsals together before the shoot."

Telly sources state that Madhubala was to be pulled off air, but as its replacement show was not in place it has now got a leeway and will be on for some more months.

Vivian and Drashti remained unavailable for comment.

I honestly don't think they hate each other. If the show is successful it is because of both of them as a jodi. Even if they are not the best of friends, what's wrong with that? They are doing their job at the end of the day and they both have their own lives.

@Shas3 agreedLOL I actually laugh reading these interviews since I'm sure that if both DVD didn't like each other than the show wouldn't have come this far :P

OK I know they aren't like best friends or anything. But they are cordial and very friendly with each other, more than their two fan-groups are. 😆😆 I certainly don't think they hate each other or there is an ego issue between them. 😆😆

I kinda see it.. I wouldn't say hate either, but they don't like each other. We hardly see them doing any interviews together like in SBS OR SBB. I feel like its more from vivians Side. Anyone would get a lil over their pride. He is back in the show so he thinks the TRP dropped because he left.

Also any parties that vivian goes too, you don't see drashti and the same with Drashti.

In Geet, In many of the interviews drashti was extremely comfortable and they had full on masti during the interviews.

Drashti, practically didn't take any movie offers because of madhubala. So she is doing her best too..

Does anyone know who gets paid more.? drashti or vivian. ?

Another bakwaas 🤢...this is why they stay away from media n vivian dd ke naam likho aur article banao n apne article ki rating badao yeh some media ke main moto ho chyka haii.kabhi viv ki tantrum,kabhi dd ki tantrum,kabhi donon ke jagda karao aur kabhi dd ki link up n break up karao , aur kabhi donon ki ph se jagda karao...get a life media walo...

They both have mentioned it innumerable times that they share a healthy professional relationship.They may not be the best of friends but are friendly enough.

According to u me and tv DD is the highest paid TV actress getting 75000 Rs. per episode surpassing Ankita Lokande's 70000 Rs. 🥳 You go girl make that money!

They always mentioned they are very cordial to each other n drashti n viv doesnt seen same parties because they have differrent friend and social circle.as drashti 's friends are outside from industry most of her friends.Vivians most of friends are in the industry so we cant see her often in those parties as she like to spend her time with her family n friends .when it comes to madhubala aur related to their work they were always together celeberated the shows success .they share relation which is collegue to colegue ...they are not bestfriends but they are friends,dd herself said if she is in trouble aur got hurt in sets of mb he is the first person who will come up and help her n she very well know that.And not giving interviews together because at the time geet she used to give a lot offscreen ivs n media linked her with her co star so she stopped it coz she doesnt want such rumours affect her life as well as her co actors life .so that is now continuing they do a lot of mastis offscreen but they avoid it infront of media thts all.
