I wouldn't doubt that. That's what happened in this other show called Banoo Mein Teri Dulhan, after the male lead gets cured, he forgets his wife.

I always felt this that raj ill forget Madhu , And today the way Ct's showed that raj didn't remember the last night whatever happened , So This can be a Clue from the Ct's that He gonna forget Madhu and then we will see the Ishq and Junoon of RajBala for each other

but in the show madhu is trying to get him improved but not cured..if there is a reason or a dark past for him to be like that then we can have such story but raju is special kid since he was 12
