RM can be shown as totally passionate and not giving a damn for their families, relatives, social-service obligations and what-not.
The only important part is for them to be united.
If the track is of the two of them conflicted, then Madhu can't be shown as heroine without the promise of a truly wreckingly minimal viewership.
We'd end up with love-hate etc of the couple, but not a workable stardom track alongside.

They can be totally sharp-edged in dealing with everyone else, but the marriage has to be successful, and husband shining equally or more and not even slightly overshadowed.

A series can show male lead as having no ego, but the majority-audience can be counted on to have enough ego on his behalf.
He has to always be more or equally financially and professionally successful, or the female lead ends up having to do one assignment and retire back to being housewife.

They did that blunder-and-consequence once last year.
Don't want to lose the chance for a successful attempt this time, and for that we need enough millions of viewership, and that is through majority-audience.

third option sounds good,as long as it rejuvenates the passion one is accustomed to see between DVD onscreen...cute is good for a wee while,after which it kind of becomes tiresome to watch.The bond between Rajbala is established... time to move on,either cure Raju or show that he has been pretending...can't take VD in an incapacitated role for this long. Lastly,JM needs a makeover pronto!
