Part-11
RK and Madhu, both took a walk in the garden and talked about so many things and shared their little secrets. When Madhu said that she use to have a crush on her English lecturer, RK felt jealous of it but laughed out and said that she use to have but never went to close to him. To that RK relaxed and changed to other topics asking about her interests. After having an around of half an hour walk, both went back to their rooms. RK went out to have a talk with dadaji to look after him and discuss about other their businesses. While Madhu stayed in her room reading some books to know about her family history.
In the evening they went to the designer's place to meet her regarding Madhu's costume. RK didnt come along with Madhu as he got other work but promised her that he will come and join later. They reached the designer's place and Madhu chose some designs and suggested the designer with some changes she needed in it. Seeing this Deepali said, "Looks like Princess have so much knowledge about the designs." Madhu said, "Looks like being a secretary to me, you dont know anything about me. I am a designer Deepali, I know how it works." Deepali put silent for sometime and thinking to humiliate Madhu at any cost. Just then she took a ink bottle which was lid open and was on the table near where Madhu was standing and explaining the desginer. Deepali was about to push the bottle but a hand stopped her and before she could see whose hand is it, the hand pushed the ink bottle on her dress. Deepali shouted and turned to see the person. RK stood in front of her and with smirk said, "Muddahi laak burra chahey tho kya hotha hai??? Wahi hotha hai jho manzure RK hotha hai... " (remember the attitude of RK when Malik came to attack him in his room in the serial). Deepali cursed in herself and left from there. Madhu understood why RK did that and thought to talk with him later. RK smiled at everyone and said, "Lets continue our work." Later, after some time, the designer gave Madhu her dress exactly what she asked for and asked her to trail it on. When Madhu came back with the dress on, RK was mesmerized seeing Madhu in that dress. He was struck with words what to say. She wore a floor length shinning sleeveless white dress with a high neck made with net from chest line to her neck and silver flowers on the dress made the dress shine more. Madhu understood the look on RK's face and blushed to herself. RK came from his trance and said, "You are looking perfectly and beautiful and graciously Princess." After that they went back to the palace. In the car, Madhu was explaining what she read about her family and what she came to know while RK was staring at Madhu and kept on admiring her. After some time, Madhu noted that RK is staring at her, she glared at him and defeatedly raised his hands in air apolozing. Madhu turned other side but blushed to herself.
Next day was the press conference day. Madhu got ready with her dress and going through her speech notes sitting in her room, just then RK came and asked, "Why are you looking so tensed Princess? I will be on your side and nothing will happen to you." She just smiled to it and leaned on RK's shoulder to calm her nerves. Everything was arranged for the conference. Madhu walked in to the conference hall where they arranged the press to meet. But to everyone's surprise there were only three press channel people who are well noted and authorized for the royal families only. Madhu and others including dadaji and kuku and RK got confused as there should be every reporter there. Madhu took a long breath and started her speech confidently. Meanwhile RK, who was standing at the dor far away from the speech stage, was thinking how it happened just then one of the bodyguard came and informed RK , "RK sir all the reporters were stopped at the palace entrance gate and were not allowed. They are making a mess there." RK got shocked and asked, "Who told to stop them. They should be here." The guy said, "Sir, Deepali have ordered the gate security to stop them and only allow these authorized people. Sir there is no time for them to come in too." RK thought for a while and took a piece of paper and wrote a note and gave the bodyguard by saying, "Pass it to Princess now." He then called bittuji and said, "Bittuji, go and control the press at the gate and tell that Princess is coming." Bittuji nodded and went fast to the gate. Here Madhu received the note which said "How about having the press conference near the palace gate??? What do you say My Princess..." She understood that it was sent by RK but she has no time now to talk about that to RK. So she said, "We are having press conference at the palace gate." By saying that she ran to the gate. Everyone ran behind her thinking what happened to the Princess. Till then she reached hear the gate and tried to calm the reporters but they stopped listening. So, she took a stool nearby and a announcer mike from the security and said, "Can you people hear me now?" To that everyone answered 'yes' in unison. Then she said, "I apologize for what happened with you guys. I really dont know why it happened but now you can ask your questions and its a different place to do the conference." To that everyone laughed and started asking questions regarding her family and everything. She also announced her email id to which people can contact her if they got any problem and these will be taken care by here assistants and the problems will be solved immediately. Everyone applauded her and RK felt proud of what Madhu did and how she handled the reporters. Here Deepali was fuming as her plans were failed.
Dadaji came to know that it was Deepali who stopped the reporters. He scolded Deepali not to do it again. She apologized dadaji faking that she thought it was for good. When dadaji warned her not to do it again and went out, she threw all the things on the table and decided to seperate RK and Madhu.
Here Madhu was sitting on edge of the fountain and playing with the water with her leg, RK came and sat beside her. She asked him, "How do you know that reporters are at the gate and stopped?" RK said, "The guard came and informed me." Madhu kept calm for a while and said, "It was done by Deepali right?" RK looked at her how she know, she said, "I asked the guard who brought the note for me." RK just nodded his head but said nothing. Madhu understood what he is thinking, so to change topic, she asked, "How did I do with the speech?" RK said, "You were excellent, My Princess." She said, "But my legs are hurting due running on the heals", making a puppy face. RK said, "I will help you with that." Madhu confusedly asked, "How?" RK suddenly lifted Madhu from water into his arms and said, "Like this." and carried her to her room. All the way Madhu protested to leave her but RK didnt even cared.
