AK's character butchered? EDITED - Page 4

Whether VD came back or no, they would have shown AK turning grey : it was indeed very much predictable knowing that both past are connected.

So I don't think they completely butchered his character. VD entry made him only a darker and a more powerful villain.

We can all see one thing that when Gunjan was chosen and his strengths as an actor he was suiting the goody goody role rather than negative role, if you ask him he says it wasn't on the cards to make him negative, it's something that has come up now. They are changing the concept that ST and his team wanted to show as rom com post leap as the previous story was too intense, now that AS is solely at the helm creatively unlike before, his decided he wants to make the story similar to pre leap, with lots of drama, revenge etc, which wasn't ST's plan. So yes they have butchered or changed AK's character to make him negative.

Yes, Abhay did make certain statements about not leaving Rishbala daughter. But that was put there in order to show whatever conflict he may have later on once he finds out the truth. Not so he could turn into a psychopath.

People do hold on to irrational thoughts, resentment and hate. But what they do when time comes is another thing. And one more thing, Abhay found out for sure RK had a daughter while he was at the studio. If he were so bent on some psychopathic revenge, he would've tried to find the daughter so he could make her life a living hell. But nope.

as they would have done even if VD was coming back or not...as they can not run a show with always a goody goody character in a dark love story there should be some shades in that character... that's why they turned RK also but that was another thing...

and AK's character is now a strong and powerfull character more than before... and it is also giving GU more opportunity to prove himself as an actor... no offense to anyone it is just my pov...
