MEIEJ was worth watching coz of Rishbala and more coz of RK. People watched it for RK/VD and that's a fact! Remove the most unique character from the show and its going to lose the charm. TRP's dropped even when he was in the show, but that more or less happened when they butchered RK and showed him weak and defeated. NO ONE was interested in watching such crap! People loved the egoistic, attitude-wala, superstar who never lived by the rules, but made his own rules.

As to the current TRP's, am not watching the show, but judging from reactions of those who are still watching, the story and main characters 😆 suck big time. It isn't gripping enough to make people crave the for next epi.

Everyone is to blame except the CVs supposedly brilliant ideas and tracks. They failed to capitalize on two popular leads and characters in DVD/Rishbala, thanks to their tracks.
At least the copy-pasting of previously very popular scenes may help make those previous versions more appreciable to the mass-majority, but that is presumably not the PH's intent.🥱
