I would say like the person above me listed every single track, if we look at her list, Madhu was in all those tracks, RK in some. More importantly here is that nakshatra, Madhubala was born with the fate to destroy all men in her life. As the story was going on we became to see the CV's show us that. So yes RK was a big part of her life as she loved him so much, but that's one part of her life only, the CV's told the story of several men, two died, one was arrested for trying to save her, another was laughed at after he got engaged to her by society, because she was called RK's laila, going back to how she affected RK the CV's blamed it on her nakshatra, but we could also see how RK was antagonising enemies with his ego (so not only the nakshatra to blame).
If we think back to ever track we enjoyed when RK was present, what were RK's actions, After Mukhund accident, he sent a bribe with the policeman that Madhu was refusing on behalf of Mukund and his family, then it started his fixation with Madhubala, RK spoilt her reputation in the newspaper and phoned her to gloat, she replied with 4 slaps infront of everyone, he smirked and Bittuji threw everyone from the studio and one girl there said our hero has been turned to zero, he married her and tried to get her down she rose up to meet every challenge he put forward. Love test Madhu refused to go with him at the farmhouse, we were all discussing what would you have done if it was you? RK did the unwedding for the slaps and dent his ego took to show society what he does to people that hurt him, she picked up her life and carried on, and he started crying for her, jealousy fear of being alone, went to ask her back, begging her when she is refusing carry her off to his house when she is refusing cut himself, emotional blackmail, I will kill myself if you don't stay with me, So you see we see those tracks RK's fixation was Madhubala. Everything that came later on again the CV's were driving forward they nakshatra about Madhubala, so we see the storytelling was about Madhubala's life.
But I will give to you RK was really entertaining to watch, and his dialogues were great and Vivian delivered them well, with the right body language and smirks.
