"Hi Chashmish!"

No!! Not here at least. With hopes against hope I turned my head slowly to see the very last person I wanted to hear. Wasn't the day long torture enough that he had followed me here too?

"Why are you stalking me?", I asked with clenched teeth.

"Well, I have much better things to do in life than to stalk you." He said rolling his eyes.

"Stalker!"

"Me? If you haven't realized then I must tell you I came here much before you came Chashmish."

"I have a nice, decent name you can call me by."

"Oh really? That is news to me." He said with a smirk.

"Madhubala Malik. I'll prefer Madhu but not Chashmish, Mr.Stalker." I said completely ignoring his smirk, for that seemed to be the best option.

"Ms.Malik, if you are hard at hearing, I'll repeat. I am not a stalker. Call me Rishab."

"Whatever. Just leave me alone." I said in an irritating tone.

I turned around and kept my bag in the corner of the room where everyone else had.

And then came the time for introduction where we were asked our past experience in dancing, if any, and our future interests.

I had 7 years of training in Bharatnatyam. And a few months of Jazz. But I must tell you, I was shocked to realize that Mr.Stalker, Moron to be more precise, had a long list of dance forms he had learnt.

Jazz, contemporary, hip hop and what not? I wanted to learn all of them.

I had expressed my desire to learn contemporary in front of my coach and I don't know if it is just my hallucination, but more than one time I caught the moron's eyes on me while our trainer taught us the warm up exercises. I really don't know why they are still stuck up on the exercises. What does he think he will teach us in a month if he goes like this?

Utterly exhausted I went back to my room to find a note from Naina that we were supposed to meet in the canteen. I freshened up, reached the canteen and stood at the entrance, scanning the entire place to find the 2 craziest heads. And I saw them waving back at me. I smiled and reached their table.

"Hi buddies." I gave them my beaming smile which always brought a smile on their faces.

"Really happy hun??" asked Bunny with an amused smile.

"Well, to be precise, exactly the opposite." I said, transforming my beaming smile to an exhausted smile.

"Guess who I found there?"

"Your ghost?"

"Bunny?!" I rolled my eyes. He chuckled.
"That moron."
"Moron? Who moron? Have you already started hating people."
"Not hating, but I just can't tolerate him. He irritates me."
"Ooohhh. Someone has already started messing up with Pikachu on the first day itself." He said amused, nodding his head while giving a glance to Naina. And I knew they mentally 'hi-fived'.
"Back to Pikachu haan?"
"Nice name for you. You look exactly like Pikachu. Red cheeks, round face. Except your retainers and your specs, everything resembles Pikachu."
"Pikaa Pikaaa. Anyways, don't remind me of my braces. Life was hell with them. I am glad to be free of them."
"Yeah glad?! You sound like a small kid with these retainers."
And they started laughing, even I couldn't control myself. I really feel relieved with them.
"Hey we are forgetting something! Who is this moron Madhu?"
"You still can't guess? Seriously?" i said not believing that they could be so ignorant.
"C'mon Pikachu tell us !!" they asked in an exciting whisper.

"Rishab Kundra!"

"Are you serious Madhu?"

"Don't tell me he is the one who irritated you! He is such a cute guy." Cute? My foot! What has happened to Naina? Well, I could see Bunny glaring at her with a frown while Naina looked around nervously. Ah! There you go Naina, calling a guy cute in front of your boyfriend. Call him cute again and it'll be me you will face next.

"Slip of tongue. Hehe."

"Anyways Madhu, he is a nice guy. I talked to him after our class was over. And he definitely is not a moron." he said smiling.

"Are you both changing sides?!" I said with my mouth wide open in disbelief.

"Sides?! God Madhu."

"Well, even if I change sides, I'll have a good reason to do so because he is so damn experienced in band!"

"Don't tell me, he has been singing about his achievements." I said exasperated.

"He is really modest Madhu. I got to know about his experience by Avinash, his schoolmate."

"By the way, I forgot to tell you. We really enjoyed your fights today. They entertained us through the boring lectures. Keep it up Pikachu." And both of them burst into a laugh and hi-fived.

"You both!!" I said aloud which went unheard over their laughter. I am so not going to leave them. But at the end of the day, they are the bestest friends anyone can get and I love them.

PS: My best friends call me Pikachu and I used it here because I am writing this story as a teenager, putting down my own thoughts as that of Madhu 😆 So is naam pe mera copyright hai 🤣
