Gunjan Utreja who was last seen as the host of Colors' show Zindagi Ki haqeeqat se Aamna Samna looks polished and perfect for the role. "Things got delayed and it was almost a last minute decision. There were many names for this role and everyone had given a look test too but Gunjan fit the bill perfectly," concludes our source.

When called Gunjan he said, "I too have heard about the same but nothing is confirmed as yet. Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon is a prestigious show and Abhay Kapoor is an important character for which I have had to give couple of look test. I am in Delhi till 11th and if everything gets confirmed, I am eager to do the show and start shooting for the same immediately."

Oh no not him he doesnt have the star quality about him iv seen him on talk show as a host hes ok but no way as an actor and that to with madhu what a horror

I feel shaleen will be apt choice with attitude and that special x factor he has there is this really raw appeal about shaleen that you cant take you eyes of the screen when hes on it as arjun he was a dream

Now if he gets to play the role in madhubala he will be sure fire hit just like vivian if any one can fit the bill after viv its shaleen him and dhrashti will be the next hot couple just wait and watch but this other guy will be a the biggest mistake and he will kill the show for sure no offence just hope they dont choose him

Its a gut feeling only shaleen can pull it off with his superb acting and mind blowing screen presence there is an aura about him which is wow

Everyone is confused as who is going to be the lead. Everyday we get a new article saying this and that. Can't they just decide who the main lead will be

Looking at this guy Gunjan he is handsome looking and all I don't know though if his acting will be good though.

Hope they choose the right person
