Guys this is gonna be a dark story. It has 18+ contents and sometimes 21+ contents too. My first attempt to write a dark story. Please read at your own risk

Here is the Characterization:

Madhubala Malik: Sweet 22 yr old bubbly girl, fearsome types. She has completed her BA degree in literature with distinction. She works for Indian Times for past 1 years as a reporter and is pursuing her master degree through correspondence.

Rishab Kundra: 29 yr old most eligible bachelor and a supertycoon in India. Very rich, master of all the decisions in his life and an orphan. He is a smart-mouth and never falls for the question that arouse in the media about his personal life. Arrogant and least bothered about the outside world. For the world he is handsome, hot, dashing business tycoon but actually he is...

Vivian D'sena: Madhu's neighbor and well wisher. Works as an editor in Indian times. Smart, good looking, talented and fully-qualified for the post. Also an orphan who was born and brought up in an orphanage.

When Madhu completed her degree he appointed her as his assistant knowing very well that this job would help her. He loves Madhu whole-heartedly and wishes to marry her if she agrees and on the other hand Madhu also has feelings for this guy but she hides her feelings coz of the fear of the society to marry a Christian and also due to her family which requires her the most. Both Madhu and Vivian hides their feelings for Madhu's sake.

Madhu's Family

Shamsheer Malik: Died in a road accident after 10 years of his marriage with padmini. It was a love marriage. Both the families didn't accept their relation. Hence they decided to leave everything behind and go to a far off place and lead a peaceful life. Everything was well with them till his death.

Padmini Malik: Cultured women who now has the responsibility of her 3 children to be taken care of f after her husband's death. She did catering business in her house for funds to meet with the needs of the family.

Trishna malik Dixit: elder sister of madhu. Married to mukund dixit who works in a bank. She is very happy with her in-laws and her husband.

Rohan malik: younger brother of madhu. He wrote his 12^th std public exam. A very brilliant student and wants to become a doctor ( a psychiatrist) .

Bittu Sharma aka Bittuji: Close associate of RK for about 10 yrs. He knows everything about RK both personal and professional life(even the darker side).

For RK Bittuji is like a elderly brother figure and hence he cares and never denies Bittuji and vice versa.

CHAPTER-1

Madhu sat on the sofa to enjoy a Saturday morning after a tiresome week's work , with her family. Her mother was doing her cooking both for the family and her business. Padmini denied madhu's helping hand in her work as she knew very well that she takes "OT" in her office to maintain the extra expenditure due to trishna's marriage . Her brother was also sitting and watching TV with her.

Rohan (with hesitation) : "didu..."

Madhu : "Haan Jaan."

Rohan : "you promised me that you will get me a seat in medical college if I get more than 90% marks in my public exam. Do you remember that? Is your promise true didu?"

Madhu : "yes jaan, it's quite true. Why do you doubt me?"

Rohan : "didu, mamma wants me to join degree course saying that it will cost less. (with tears in his eyes) you know na that how I long to become a doctor. Plzzz didu."

Madhu : "jaan, let mamma do whatever she wants to. I promise to make you a doctor no matter how much it costs. It's a promise from your didu. Now smile my cutie pie."

Padmini (interrupting their conversation) :" madhu, why are you giving him false hopes? What's bad in pursuing a degree course? You also wanted to become an engineer later you adjusted yourself with the circumstances. Let him also do the same, jaan."

Madhu : "my situation is different from his. When I was studying, the only income to this house was from you. But now I also am working. I will take an office loan if necessary but will somehow make his ambitions true. I can't see my jaan like this."

Padmini (shocked): "one more loan, no ways . I won't let you do it, jaan. Already you took one loan for trishna's marriage and you are struggling with it. You work for 18 hours a day jaan. Your health will suffer if you work like this. plzzz"

Madhu (leaning and hugging onto her): "mamma the loan is on the verge of its close. If you can work for the three of us then I also can for my brother, after all I am your daughter. Don't worry, I will take care of everything. Can I ask you something mamma? How long have I been pestering you to stop this business of yours. But you just don't want to listen to me, isn't it?"

Padmini : "it's not like that. I can't let only you suffer for the family. I will also help you till my end."

Madhu : "stop it mamma. How many times have I warned you to not talk like this."

With this they turn towards their respective works and then suddenly trishna enters with her husband. They all greet each other and spend the rest of the time chitchatting. After sometime lunch is served on the table and everyone forwards to have their lunch. On the lunch table,

Trishna : "Mady, why do you look so worried?"

Madhu : "Didu, Have you heard of Rishab Kundra?"

Trishna: "ofcourse Mady, everyone in India knows about him. He is "the super tycoon"(showing the gestures with her fingers) whose business ventures extends in many fields(CEO of many ventures)."

Madhu: "Ya didu the same man. Tomorrow I am to interview him. So I am little nervous."

Rohan: "But this is not the first time you are going to interview. Then why are you behaving so odd today didu?"

Madhu: "Becoz jaan he is a very powerful man. I fear that the questions I have prepared does not offend him. Anyways no one knows anything about his personal life. He always keeps mum before the media towards any personal question. The thing that screws me is that for the past 4 months I have been pestering Mr.Sharma for his interview and he used to disconnect my calls after sometime but never gave me a date. His usual replies were "Sir is out of station" "Sir is busy" "Sir has other meetings and commitment" etc. But once I directly went to his office for getting the appointment he immediately gave me one before me convincing him."

Trishna(shocked): "Did you meet RK?"

Madhu: "No didu. I met only Mr.Sharma, his associate. Tommorow only I am gonna meet the so called "RK"(stretching the word RK and started giggling)"

Trishna(frustrated): "Offo Madhu! Leave the RK thing now. I have got more important news for you.(Turning to padmini) Mamma you remember Mukund's cousin Manish."

Padmini: "Yes Trishna ofcourse"

Trishna(exicted) :" He wants to marry madhu. He has been pestering Mukund for quite a long time. He works as a supervisor in OSI group of industries'. Mamma, what do you say?"

[ Madhu feels heartbroken thinking of Vivian but she doesn't say a thing but only looks at her mother sheepishly.]

Padmini: "If that is so then we will think about it Trishna"

Trishna(scared): "Mamma the thing is they want the wedding to happen at the earliest auspious date."

Padmini(a little angered): "What are you talking Trishna? Have you gone mad? You know quite well that I don't want Madhu's marriage before she attains 24."

Trishna: "But Mamma"

Padmini(quite angry): "Enough Trishna. End of discussion.(turning to Mukund) Look beta I am really sorry this is not to offend Manish but I don't want Madhu's marriage to happen for another 2 yrs."

Saying this Padmini gives an angry glare to Trishna, who puts her head down, and she proceeds towards her room and she closes the door. She takes the photo of Malik and cries before it.

Padmini(looking at the photo): "Don't worry jaan. I wont let anything happen to my princess. I wont let her get married before 24. How can I forget what the Guruji predicted for Madhu. Whatever he has predicted for Madhu has happened till now."

[Prediction by the Guruji : "Madhu will undergo 3 hurdles in her life. One will be at the age before 8 and the 2^nd before 16 and 3^rd before 24. However by my puja I can partially remove the effect of the first 2 hurdles but the third one Madhu has to face it. No puja and nothing can save her from that. The hurdle may even take her life but don't worry since she was born on the feets of Vishno devi maa she will always be a God blessed child. Otherwise also I can sense a different power in your daughter's soul which makes her very much different from other girls and god always helps his subjects. However you should do everything on your part to take care of her till 24.]

Guruji's words were ringing in her ears.

Padmini: "firstly I paid little heed towards his words but just like the Guruji predicted she had fire accident when she was 7 and she was about to drown when she neared 16 and since that day I prayed only for my daughter's well being. I wont let anything happen to my princess. This is a soul pledge of a mother."

On the other hand madhu was going through the questions to be shot out to RK for the umpteenth time. Partially her heart was yearning for Vivian and her unsaid feeling for him and her mind was full of RK and the interview with him the following day.

[Little did she know that the interview is gonna change her destiny once and forever.]
