CHAPTER-5

RK(seductively) : " come and lie beside me, BI..WI.."

Madhu(shocked) :" RK, what are you doing here?"

RK (with a half smile) :" Thought of checking on my gorgeous wife before going to bed. Why are you shocked, madhu? Are you not happy that I am here?"

Madhu(angryily) :" how do you expect me to stay cool when you have almost scared me? by the way how did you manage to get inside?"

RK (tugs at madhu's hand and she falls on bed, RK comes on top of her and slowly reduces the distance between their faces) :" madhu , don't be mad at me. I just wanted to see you once. It's been two days since I haven't seen you. How can you even forget that I have a spare key of your house, a duplicate one"

Madhu(slowly pushes RK and gets out of the bed) :"that's so considerate of you RK. But I am fine."

RK (a little irritated):" madhu, why do you behave so coldly with me? We are married for the past two months and yet no one knows about it, neither your family nor the outside world."

Madhu(keeping her cool self) :"NO nothing like that, RK. I just need a little time. Mamma has just been recovered. This will go as a shocker for her."

RK(more irritated) :"how much more time, madhu? It's been two months but still you couldn't say this to your family. I can wait no more.(goes near her and cups her face).I have no family. You are my only family now. I want to tell the whole world that you are mine now, all mine but you wont let me to. This time I am not going to listen to you. There will be a press conference in my Mansion day after tomorrow in which we will both announce that we were in love for the past 3 months and will get married in another 3 days. I have arranged everything Madhu and plz be there and now its up to you to decide to whom would you disclose the secret first, to your family or to the world."

Madhu(calmly and softly): "RK, plz"

RK(his face lightly darkens and his voice raises): "Enough Madhu (and gestures her to shut up. He runs his fingers through his smooth hairs to maintain his calmness and takes a heavy breath and then again cups her face and slowly bends his forehead to meet hers and closes his eyes and tentatively Madhu also does the same) Madhu... Madhu... look.

Don't. Make. Me. Mad.

I can be dangerous sometimes. I don't want to hurt you by any means coz I love you Madhu and I expect the same courtesy from you too. Never ever test my patience. Anything related to you matters more to me than what you think (seeing her confused face and shivering hands RK consoles her). See I have got more enemies than what you can even imagine and the moment they know that you are my wife, they will try to harm you. I cant bear that. I cant let anything happen to you. That's why I am pestering you to accept the truth in front of the world and come to me forever. Please don't mistake me. Think about it."

Madhu(slowly): "Ok. You don't have to wait anymore. I will tell mamma tomorrow itself as soon as she reaches home and will try to convince her for this relationship."

RK(fully convinced): "Better. Tomorrow I will call you. Let me know by then."

Saying this he leans down and kisses on her lips passionately and drives to his mansion back convinced. After reaching the mansion he couldn't stop thinking about Madhu as she is going to be his forever from the following day.

RK's POV(11:00 PM)

I was sitting on the couch in my room and my head was paining like hell. My eyes fell on the file besides my bedside table named MADHUBALA MALIK' and my anger calmed down . My eyes gleamed on seeing the file and I grabbed it and went towards my study. My eyes gazed through all the details of Madhubala.

I leaned on my couch and that day appeared before me afresh when Madhubala came to my office to get an appointment for an interview with me. I still remember her wearing a blue short kurti with a 3/4^th sleeve and blue jeans. She was waiting near my cabin in the waiting place. My cabin had a wide glass window at the right which gave a perfect view of the outside office through which I saw her. I was mesmerized by her beauty. I was praising her features such as her bambie eyes, her perfectly shaped nose, her rosy lips and her cute chubby cheeks and ...ahem...ahem and so on. But somehow I could see a nervousness in her eyes and she was looking all around her. I was shocked by her actions and I intended to know what she was up to. However she didn't recognize that I was keeping a watch on her (my cabin was designed such that I can view the entire office from my cabin but no one in my office can see through the glass of my cabin). After she became fully convinced that no one was looking at her she did a quick movement with the pins in her hair lock and undid her hair-do which came tumbling down in tresses and covered her whole back. She let out a deep sigh after that. I was quite confused with her actions and called Bittuji to know about her and the reason behind her arrival. Bittuji passed on to me the information that she was the same reporter who wanted to interview me for the past 4 months. I was impressed by the efforts she took that too just for an interview. I immediately gave the permission for the interview after 2 days and asked Bittuji to arrange my schedule accordingly. It was not the first time someone was pestering me for an interview but I felt something special with that girl and wanted a close encounter with the girl so I agreed for the interview. When Bittuji conveyed this information to her I could see the excitement and happiness and the sense of relief on her face. After a few minutes, I thought she left the place but accidently I found her near the washroom on my way to the board meeting. She was gathering her papers which she dropped on the floor. I moved forward to help her and then only I noticed the small tear on her kurti and all her previous actions made sense. However she did not notice me. I was so much impressed by her and she took a place, deep in my heart unknowingly at that very moment. That night I was not able to sleep because of this girl. Somehow I strongly felt that she was unlike the girls in my society who hovered around me to grab my attention, to seduce me to live a luxurious life. I must accept the fact that she succeeded in attracting me.

I still remember the day she came to my office to take my interview. I had already instructed my staffs to give her a warm and respectful welcome. She wore a red and white salwar and was looking stunningly beautiful even on a traditional wear. All her questions and doings were very formal. She asked more about my personal life which angered me to a greater extent. I would have lost my control if it had not been her before me. Anyways I controlled myself becoz I don't want to leave a bad impression on her. Unfortunately my charm didn't work on her and my ego was hurt on that moment. At that particular moment I decided to get her in my life by hook or by crook. I called Bittuji and I commanded him to gather information about her. Later that day I got the information that her mother was not well and was admitted in a hospital. I visited the hospital without getting noticed by her and saw her weeping infront of the statue of Devi Maa. I couldn't bear that sight and I immediately contacted the dean of the hospital and offered my help and gave Bittuji's number since I thought she wont accept my help as I failed to make a good impression on her in the interview. Next day she called Bittuji to thank him for his timely help and I asked Bittuji to inform her to meet me in my mansion. How can I even forget how I proposed her.

******FLASHBACK******

I was eagerly waiting for her in my room and constantly viewing all the cams in my mansion to get a glimpse of her. She came at the appointed time and she was standing near the gates of my mansion. She was gaping at the name of the mansion (I was sure that she was surprised to see the name KUNDRA MANSION' Since I had given Bittuji's number to the dean when I offered help.) I ordered patil to get her IN and make her comfortable in the drawing room with due respect. After sometime I came down to meet her. For one moment she was shocked to meet me.

RK: "Hello Ms.Malik, you remember me?"

Madhu(sarcastically): "How can I even forget you sir but I am here to meet one Mr.Bittu Sharma."

RK: "Oh! Bittuji. He is my manager Ms.Malik. I don't get what business you have with him?"

Madhu: "He helped me in a tragical situation and I am here to express my gratitude to him. If you don't mind can you please call him."

RK: "It may amaze you to know that my manager helped you on my instructions."

Madhu(thunder stuck) : "But why did you help me, sir?"

RK(calmly): "Coz I loved you and couldn't see you in pain."

Madhu(eyes popped out and shocked): "WHAT? What do you know about me to love me?"

RK: "I am not interested in your past Ms.Malik. I like you. I love you and that's all I know and I will be more than happy if you agree to marry me and be a part of my life forever."

Madhu(still in shock): "I... I... don't love you. I... I... You... No... NO... it cant be"

I felt my heart skip a beat when she told me that she was not in love with me. But this was not a shocker for me as I knew that she liked someone named Vivian but I was eager to get her. So I played my cards. I tried to suppress her under my timely help. I am a good manipulator. I am good at making people do things what I want them to do.

RK: "I know Ms.Malik that you don't love me and neither this is compulsory nor I am forcing you on this relation. Its my heart felt plea. Accept it if you want or leave it. Its upto you."

Eventhough I told her that it was not compulsory I felt like grabbing her in my arms and kissing her hardly and not let her go away from me for a lifetime. I wanted to shout at her that she is all mine and only mine. She has to accept my proposal but fortunately I kept my calm self.

Madhu: "Sir, I cannot marry you. I am not worthy of you. Please ask for something else that I can do for you."

RK: "I am not asking anything in return for my help Ms.Malik. A reward for a good deed is the deed itself. Don't take it that way. I proposed you coz I really love you. Don't say that you are not worthy of me. Anyways I am not bullying into surrendering. Take your own time to think about it."

Madhu(not knowing what to say decides to leave): "Thank you for your help Mr.Kundra. I think I should leave now."

******FLASHBACK******

Eventhough my subconscious was shouting at me to grab her in my arms and not let her go, I let her go out of my house since I knew very well that she will definitely say a yes' to me. I have emotionally blackmailed her even without her notice of it. As expected she called me the next day and told me that she was ready for the marriage with me. But she also convinced me for marriage after her mother's operation and recovery. But I could wait no more for her, to have her in my life. After a month when her mother was fully recovered and well, I played my cards once more in the name of the will' of my father and we both got secretly married on a court marriage process. It's been two months since we are married but till now I have not made love to her. In fact I have not done anything more than kissing. I don't know how I got this self-control over her but I thank my stars for that. She is something special for me. Apart from bittuji, she is the only person in this world who has the audacity to confront me fearlessly. Oh god All these days I waited now it becomes very difficult for me to wait even for one day for her. I want her. I want her now.
