I think as long as Rudra isn't physically abusive towards women he will not only work but also rock 😉...cos RK isn't and never was a saint with Madhu and yet his character became so popular.Its the alpha male characters that draw women and NF is serving them the same goods in a different package;having said that I still think VD already had an enviable female fan following prior to MB and is outstanding looks wise(far better than AC if u ask me)...so even tho Rudra will gain popularity it will be more as a part of the 'jodi' he makes with Paro and their chemistry I feel.
Saw RR episodes but am failing to connect with the show. I agree it is mounted on a very big scale and comes across as a movie rather than a daily show on TV but for how long will the euphoria continue after the initial 2-3 weeks of NF experimentation? Both the leads appear one dimensional at this point, SI as a helpless, shy female and AS with too many issues which make him OTT violent in the beginning. Love might change him but he is bound to revert back to his original self once the mu creeps in. Ami, I too doubt that the male lead will work if they continue to keep his violence level. Though its too early to say, I was not that impressed with AS's dialogue delivery. His looks are more intense but did not hear the same intensity when he spoke in today's episode.
BV has a similar backdrop and MEIEJ is a dark love story airing on the same channel. Colors might have a completely different angle coz it makes no sense airing a new show which is a mix of its already two popular shows😕.
