Maybe, but it was better than having people think there wasn't even anything worthwhile upcoming.😊
This way, there was the chance that they would decide to watch the episodes with the reassurance that RK would burn those papers after getting home from jail.😳
And apparently, it did work.😆😳

for months colors promoted rk-sultan clash epis which used to garner highest trp every week and thereby some gvng credit to bhai as also seen on Rm wedding...Contrary to this ST always tweeted for pro Rm epis.he tweeted on SR whereas colors din show any promo for Sr...Now as bhai is leaving nautanki team(St team) is tweeting heavily..god bless NF ...colors are so unprofessional

i so wish Nf send Rm to honeymoon to some foreign location...instead of spending 40 lakhs on srk they shoud have sent rm to HM...But DD in jdj ... i want after that...please can we all tweet Nf for a delayed Hm before more problems knock into rm life...please please please..im so excited...im in dream land

Option n 2 : They could have showed that the story of Sultan being MK's son is baked up or not true and that Rasheed misjudged the past situation ( didn't he say that he doen't remember something in between that story) and try at least to clean MK's image somehow even if the confession of Radha wasted all the chances to such a thing, but at least they coudl have showed that Sltan is not Rk's brother, isn't there a test called ADN, If I were in RK's place and in my denial mode i would have done this and after they could try to explain the reason why MK commited a suicide.

Arshisfan, it's not merely a case of hating the first option. Even the second option would have to be done with Sultan dead and his son forgotten. Seeing him or his son in any further track would make it worthwhile to give up on the series.
Aryan with Rishbala is far more to be avoided than endearing.
That kid would be a living reminder of Madhu's cordial association with the boy's father. We'd end up needing RK's child from a previous relationship to turn up and be placed in Madhu's parenting to balance that. A heck of an unfair balance it would be.
You can't show a couple tending to the child of a man who wanted the wife and was maliciously and viciously envious of the husband. It would be repugnant reminder to the audience of not only the kid's father, but of the wife's having supported that person against her husband.
Both father and son have earned a degree of mass-audience antipathy that the series has no leeway or time to get past.
This was a character for which they tried very hard to make RK look villainous, so that they could make him parallel lead and then main lead.
Thanks be to the mass-audience that they completely rejected that effort, and backed RK even despite the way he was suddenly being portrayed.
And regarding other tracks, you're right, any attempt to be provident by fledging out tracks for the supporting characters would be beneficial for the series and the leads and give them some time off. But it doesn't work here, because this series has always been about Rishbala. Mass-audience doesn't seem to have any interest (as per ratings) in watching any tracks except as affecting the lead couple, with the latter being the focus.

@bold: this could be done if handled properly that track cud work n wud show another shade of RK's character..but Sultan has to die 4 sure.. no redemption for him.. he has to leave the show!!!

Of course now he has to die, we can't stand him anymore, i was talking about the possibility of redemption before he turns to be a lecherous villain now NO WAY, A BIG NO😡
