How was your recent experience with SRK ?
Oh It was breathtaking.Honestly I am not a person who gets awestruck by seeing celebs but SRK has this some charisma and when he walked in it was like OMG he was there and he is so down to earth and whatever rehearsals we were doing,everytime we did a take,he knew his lines so pretty well and just the way he was was Unreal.
Now you are very popular with your role of Geet and now Madhubala,whats the role that you prefer ?
I prefer everything done till now,DMG,Geet and Madhubala. I guess they have their own charm to it as a character and I'm very happy doing MB as well and dont regret doing any of the shows as they are very close to me ! <3
What is your idea of Romance ?
Honestly I am a very unromantic person.Actually since I have joined TV I have become a very unromantic person because half the time I'm sleepy😆 so my idea of romance is a perfect date on the beach with candlelight dinner😳
Do you feel awkward while doing romantic scenes ?
Of course to some extent I'm okay with it but after a point If I'm not okay with it I make it clear and I guess my directors and all are pretty cool with it.
How is your chemistry on screen and off screen with RK and Vivian ?
Very good on screen of course its better for the viewers and fans to judge than me ,offscreen of course we are very good friends,a lot of fun to hang around and everything ,just that I am very moody so bichara he is always taking care of my moodiness and snappiness 😆 but he is very sweet 😳 (DD herself said! )
What do you do in your spare time during on sets and off sets ?
As of now,all I do is when I get time off is sleep,when I'm in the car,I sleep and when I reach home that is at 4 in the morning(Haww )I'm sleeping,right now I'm doing nothing else besides sleeping but otherwise If I'm on sets after sleeping,I listen to music,on my Ipad,I'm talking on the phone,quite addicted to talking on the phone,with my friends as I dont get to meet them otherwise so thats the only way I keep in touch with them and otherwise during weekends,dinner,poker !
What are your other interests ?
I can go shop,anytime ,any point and any place that you tell me to! Awwe she is soo cutee! 😆
How do you keep yourself fit ?
Right now,only Jhalak is helping me stay fit otherwise I dont think that I have been so fit since the past 1 year but ya,now I know that once Jhalak is over ,I'm going to continue being like this,just getting on to a healthy diet because I dont think that I will get time to do a workout or something because I will be done with working out with the end of Jhalak! 😳😆 but yes controlling my diet,of course ya.
How do you manage Jhalak and Madhubala at the same time ?
Genuinely I have no answer to this ,honestly my hair dressers,my makeup people are being really really sweet to me because they know I get very snappy when i'm out of sleep but they all listen to me quietly,they are always there ,if i'm sleeping in the afternoon,they will come press my hair,press my back,you know,press my legs,every morning my mom wakes me up pressing my legs like Common get up ,we have to go shoot so yes ,everybody has been very supportive.
Even at Jhalak,Salman has been very supportive because I can give him only very limited hours and the kind of choreography and concepts he has in mind ,it is very difficult to cope up in the time span I give him but he is still not lost his calm and patience and he has been very nice to me because he knows that I come after working for 12 hours and anyway I'm a little cranky(so cuteee),irritated and tired but touchwood as of now,Its going fine😳 I really dont know how I'm doing it but I guess its only my passion thats making me do it! 👏
Who is your Mentor ?
I actually dont,I dont know why but the next question would be why and I genuinely dont have an answer to it and I have never thought of getting into it ,I'm very happy with what I'm doing,I'm very content.
Any hint to give your viewers about Madhubala for which we should await ?
Genuinely I dont know what this twist is going to be😆 but you guys should watch it because ,she pauses and adds 'I need not say it,they are anyways going to watch it ,(Awwe),you guys are really going to enjoy the twists and turns in the show.
With Jhalak,do you think anybody is your competitor ?
Genuinely,from day 1,the thing is I have never gone and seen anybody else 's performances,like when they are doing their technicals or when they are rehearsing because usually when I reach is the time when everybody is leaving ,I reach only by around 9,10 ,by the time everybody is leaving and by the time I leave around 4 in the morning,I'm like Am I the only person who is rehearsing so much 😆 and then I realise that you know,they all come all day long,and they rehearse and go so I really dont really get the chance to meet everybody,even my technicals,I do later in the night because I go from shoot so I havent really seen their acts while preparation is going on and besides that I genuinely want to compete with myself .
I dont want to have a competition with the others because there is Lauren from'So you think you can dance'who I genuinely cannot be comparing myself with because she is like Magic when she performs on stage and the kids are just unreal,I wait to watch them perform on stage because they are like breathtaking ,they are like'What are they doing'(DD does some cute hand motions) and besides that I dont know,I mean I guess I'm not the competitive sorts with other people,I want to compete with myself,excel in every act I do so even if I tell Salman 'Should we go and watch',he says 'Lets just work on your act,why get involved with what others are doing' he is not really bothered with others.
And I know my fans are always there. Really guys,I didnt know that so much love is out there,like when I scored less previous week,my Twitter was flooded with things and guys I must say 'Crying was in the act that I had to do ,I had to cry so I wasnt just crying ,please dont think I was crying,I dont cry so easily and besides that I was very touched with everybody's messages like we know how you are working,it doesnt matter,you see from Saturday 9 pm to 9 am next day,you will get the highest votes,be the most voted person,so I'm just very touched,I dont know whether I'm going to win it or not,that doesnt really matter ,I'm just doing my best ,as of now I'm really enjoying what I'm doing and the love I'm getting from everybody <3
How is it working with Nautanki Films ?
Oh ,Saurabh Sir,he is a brilliant producer you can have,very very very sweet,and he is just a phone call away like I dont usually call and harass him since he has so many things in his head ,a new baby,and I would not want to disturb him ,but if I'm ever stuck,I call him and everything is sorted in a day and his stories and concepts,you all see the results so very happy with Saurabh sir and the Nautanki people!
Whats the one thing you cant leave your house without ?
My cellphone and my wallet,as an afterthought,she adds'Perfume'😳
