I don't know how but the last thread got deleted and I didn't know how to retrieve it again. I even contacted adminis but they didn't respond back. So I am posting the story again.

Part 4

NARRATION OF MADHU

"Roma!! We are getting late for the first day of Madhu's shoot. Come on." Trishna shouted from the kitchen. Madhu who was cleaning the house smiled seeing Roma's disheveled look who was scratching her hair frequently.

"I will come with you two. I want to see RK from my own eyes." She sat on the chair pouring water in the glass.

"RK is not coming today. It's Madhu's first shoot for the film and she has no scene with RK today." Trishna explained teasing Roma.

Hearing it, Roma choked. "What!! It's her first scene in the film and that too without RK. Hey Bhagwan! What kind of film you signed with that Superstar? If I would have been there'"

"Bua.." Madhu called but Roma pounced on her. "Don't call me Bua. I am not that old."

"Okay Romaji, It's the first scene of the film and Madhu and they are going to open it with her entry." Trishna faced her palms towards Roma from the kitchen and then Madhu rushed towards her to rub her back.

"Oh then that's good." Roma poured some more water in her glass and Madhu continued her work. "And you are staying here without moving. You need rest." Ordered Madhu cleaning the picture of the three on the wall.

"No I want to watch your first scene. Please." Roma pouted her lips and Madhu looked at Trishna in helplessness. Trishna sighed and nodded.

"Fine. But you won't move around there. You are going to sit in a seat and will take your lunch and medicine at right time if Didu or I will be stuck in any work there." Madhu raised her finger and Roma nodded at her each condition. "Then go and get ready or you need my help." Madhu offered but Roma pulled her lips to side. "I don't need your help glycerine. I am not a child. I am your aunt." She turned throwing her curled hairs in the air. She was at the door of her room when suddenly she turned around. "One minute. Did u call me bua at hospital? In the doctor's room too?"

"No. We know you hate calling bua. Madhu was just teasing you." Trishna explained while Roma sighed in relief and closed the door behind her.

"Oh no. She's not going to grow up. ever." Madhu uttered rolling her eyes while Trishna laughed at her aunt freely. She was their aunt, their mother and their best friend. How could they deny her request when she was everything to them? She saved them and brought them up without any financial help. She did it without thinking about herself, her life. She never married anyone and they were the reason behind it. 18 years ago she fought against everyone after their mother died. They were alive and she was the reason of their breaths, their lives.

"Madhu, we just saw on TV that you are doing a film with RK. Is this true?" asked Vimla as soon as Madhu opened the door. Madhu was going to say something when Trishna and Roma joined her and her eyes drifted to the bunch of the people. It looked like their whole colony was standing outside their door. She knew the producer had announced the film and it was a matter of time when everyone was going to know about it.

"Yes." She answered smiling at Vimla Aunt. She had always helped Roma when they were children. "Vimla Aunty, Madhu is going to be a big heroine unlike me." Trishna held Vimla's shoulder teasing Madhu who was astonished hearing these words.

Madhu pulled her hands and embraced her sister. "No never. I can't be bigger than my sister. Didu I am doing this for you. And you are the biggest heroine I've ever seen. Don't say anything like this again unless I won't talk to you." She came out of the hug pouting her mouth and turned around to express that she was angry with Trishna.

"Fine. I won't. Promise." Trishna turned Madhu around holding her shoulders and wiped her tears. "Oh no Glycerine. Stop crying it's your first day of shoot and you're ruining the happiness with tears. Come here." Roma held Madhu in her arms and Trishna joined them too.

Madhu left them after a minute and returned with a big plate of laddoos. She distributed them to everyone. "Madhu bitiya jeeti raho." Vimla Aunt and others left wishing Madhu and Trishna was jumping with excitement. "Madhu you are going to live my dream. I am so happy that my little sister is doing it for me. Thank you so much Madhu."

"Shut up Didu. Don't thank me. I love you so.. so.. so.. much." Madhu squeezed her sister and left with them locking the door behind. Soon her life was going to gift her a golden key to unlock another lock which opened the door to the happiness she deserved. But for this happiness she had to pay some costs. She had a golden future ahead with sorrows in it.

"Trishna Madam, Rajesh Sir asked me to hand this key to you and Madhu madam." Said the man passing her a key.

"What is this?" Trishna asked while Madhu and Roma stared at the key and then at the man in confusion.

"This is the key of vanity van. This is a gift from Rajesh Sir to Madhu madam. It's outside the door. Red Color."He walked out when Roma almost jumped. "A vanity van! Wow glycerin! Let's see how is it." Roma snatched the key out of Trishna's hand and ran outside. Madhu and Trishna followed her too concerned she might fell down with weakness.

As soon as Roma opened the door only one word came out of their mouth in unison. "Wow!" The vanity van was furnished with everything you needed, from a convertible bed to a small kitchen and a small gym. They touched everything to feel all of them were real. Roma jumped on the sofa while Trishna and Madhu rested themselves on the small bed holding each other hand. "It's so exciting!" Roma shouted when Madhu got up with a jerk and forced Roma to sit on the sofa. "What did I tell you to do? To sit on a seat and you are jumping up and down here. If you are going to behave like this then I have no choice than to send you back to home."

"Okay..Okay' See I am sitting now." Roma raised her hands to surrender when someone knocked on the door and Madhu answered. "Yes. Come in."

A woman came inside followed by some women with packets and boxes. "Hi, I am Reshma and they are my assistants. I am here for your make-up and dress." She explained politely and Madhu smiled in response. "Hello, I am Madhubala."

"I know. Everyone knows about you now. So from where do we start girls?" She said looking back and the other girls pulled Madhu with them to the big Mirror on the wall. They made her sit on the chair and tied her hairs up. For the next hour Roma and Trishna stared at the girls with open mouth. They saw how they brushed and coated the surface of her body and made her wear a night suit.

Seeing all this Roma murmured in Trishna's ears. "That's how they look so beautiful. But our Madhu doesn't need all of this. She's already so beautiful."

"Shut up Roma and let me see what they are doing with her." Trishna shushed her without turning her head to look at Roma.

All the time Madhu tolerated the torture. She was also a make-up artist but she never knew how it felt to endure all of this. She was never going to let anyone suffer from this in her life again. But this was how they were going to behave with her for the next three months till the end of the shooting. She sighed thinking about this and now knew how her own medicine tasted. It was bitter. She almost died with the embarrassment when they directed her to change the dress right there. But she denied changing her dress in front of them. Trishna and Roma came to her rescue and made a wall between them and her with a long cloth. She felt like someone had opened the door of the cage when the make-up artist uttered those life saving words. "We are done." They left her alone with Roma and Trishna saying they had never seen a girl so beautiful in their life even in a night-suit.

When Madhu turned to look at Roma and Trishna, they gasped seeing her and she knew she was looking stupid. But when Trishna almost ran to hug her she turned a bit to look at the mirror. All this time she was afraid to look in the mirror and now when she glanced at it, she found a beautiful girl with huge eyes and polished skin. Her skin had always been plain and flawless but this was something else. Her big eyes were huge now twinkling with surprise. Their good family time was again interrupted by a knock. "Come in." Madhu answered.

"Ma'am these are the dialogues and here is your scene." He explained the scene again and her dialogues. Madhu listened everything like an obedient student. When he left she poured some water in the glass and chucked it down in a one breath. "Madhu? Are you nervous?" asked Trishna holding her shoulders. "I am not nervous. I am scared Didu." She took a deep breath to steady herself and Trishna and Roma soothed her to not to be scared.

When someone knocked the door again, Madhu jerked a bit and answered. "Come in." She was started to be annoyed with all the knocks.

"Ma'am Shot is ready." The person informed and left.

"Just do what you did in the audition. It's easy." said Trishna cheering her sister up. "Yes I can do it." Madhu answered nervously and stepped out of the van with them.
