After checking out of the hotel room next morning, madhu and Rk sat in the car to leave the place.

Madhu : Rk airport toh peeche chutt gaya! Hum kaha jaa rahe hain??

Rk : tumhein yumdoot ne bheja hai mera surprise khatam karne? (raising a brow)

After a while they reached their destination.

Portsmouth, UK

Rk : lo aa gaye biwi!

Madhu : kahan ?

Rk : cruise pe Biwi!

Chapter 26 - Cruise

Rk : cruise pe Biwi!

Madhu was so busy figuring out the roads that she almost missed that massive ship that waited harboured right in front of her eyes! The Ship was massive and charming white. sunlit water ripples reflected on her underside and made everything look prettier than ever. Madhu almost started counting the floors as her eyes meandered up and down like a kid to which Rk looked at happily, in amusement and gestured a five' at madhu. Madhu smiled back and both walked in, to enter the ship with two helpers carrying their luggage walking behind them.

It was a warm welcome with showering of rose petals at the entrance followed by a welcome drink in the waiting area at the reception.

India

At the chawl

Trishna : ma maine ab tak madhu ko film ke bare mein nahi bataya...phone hi nahi lag raha

Padmini : kal raat baat huyi thi meri lekin mujhe laga tu khud hi usse yeh khush-khabri dena chahti hai toh phir maine bhi nahi bataya..

Trishna : kya keh rahi thi glycerine

Padmini : keh rahi thi kuch, London eye mein hai...saara London dikh raha hai' woh thik hai...tera shooting ka pehla dinn kaisa raha?

Rk mansion

Radhaji : bittuji rishu ne kal phone kiya tha, lekin abhi kabse try kar rahi hoon par lag hi nahi raha...

Bittuji : auntiji mujhe film ke bare mein cheif ko ek urgent update deni thi par contact hi nahi ho paa raha hai..shayad kal phone karenge cheif..

Radhaji : bittuji waise aapko kuch pata hai kya schedule hai tour ka?

Bittuji : haan auntiji main aap ko batata hoon..

Cruise

Suite room

Madhu was sitting on the bed when Rk came out of the washroom. Madhu looked at him and before she would start her rapid fire questions rk spoke calmly..

Rk : biwi kal hum pohochenge Cherbourg, wahan halt hai...phir brest honge parso...

Madhu : Rk , par..

Rk : Cherbourg france mein hai aur brest bhi...phir agle dinn hum Coruna mein honge jo Spain mein hai...(Madhu still looked confused but, Rk continued..) aur agle dinn Vigo jo, humaara destination hai! Ab chodo yeh sab aur yahaan aao...

Madhu got up and spoke, "Rk mujhe restaurant le chalo, mujhe kitchen dekhna hai!"

Rk was just taken aback at her words. He raised a brow and ran to her touching her forehead with the back of his right hand he said, "tum thik ho? ab yeh matt kehna ki tumhein yahaan bhi nurse ka role hi play karna hai !"

But, madhu just grabbed his arm n took him out of the room locking their room behind with a bang. Rk was shocked by her behaviour, "tum sach mein spain jaane ke chakkar mein jungli billi bann gayi ho? yaa phir yeh tumhaare naye gown waale avataar ka asar hai" smirking he said.

At the restraunt the couple ordered for evening snacks while madhu insisted that she needed to see the kitchen! Rk knew there was no use stopping because madhu wasn't the kinds who would listen anyway so, he gave in...but, he had no idea that there was more to come. No sooner had they finished with their snacks they started strolling around to see the ship. They reached the third deck soon which was the largest one and there at one end you could see the v shaped end of the ship, the bow. Hand in hand both of them walked up till the bow...the breeze was soothing but, it was getting cold...they stood there hugging each other in the calm till madhu broke the hug and insisted they head to the disc!

Rk : biwi tumne meri surprise ka badla lene ka plan banaya hai? Ek dinn ke liye kuch zyaada hi nahi ho raha?

Madhu : toh patidev tumne hi kaha tha naa...tumhein jungle billi pasand hai ? (raising a brow)

Rk : Ahaan!

They headed to the disc on another deck which was open to sky...Rk held madhu's waist with one hand and held madhu's hand in another. Madhu put her other hand on Rk's back and rested her hand on his chest. It was serene and both danced away till midnight when suddenly celebratory crackers started bursting in the sky and madhu looked into RK's eyes and spoke, "Happy Birthday Rishab!"

RK's eyes twinkled as the smile walked from his lips to his eyes and then he spoke..

Rk : biwi ab wish toh kar liya par, meri birthday gift kahan hai??

Madhu : ab RK iss cruise pe main khudse apna kamra dhoondh loon wahi kaafi hai, gift kaise dhundhu? Par mere paas kuch hai tumhaare liye...suitcase mein hai...chalo...

The couple walked to their room. Rk opened the door and smirked with a sweet smile, staring at the room. The room was decorated with rose petals and and candles lit in the entire room brought in the much needed warm air. The entire room smelled rosy with a tinge of molten wax mixed in the air.

Rk stared at madhu as if trying to figure out how the miracle happened. Then he spoke, "Kitchen?" to which madhu gave a yes i know i'm smart kind of expression' in reply while Rk continued "aaj main tumhein nahi chodoonga biwi!" (winks)

Madhu : main bhi nahi chodoongi patidev! (Winked back)

Then she walked to the suitcase and picked up the parcel rk had gifted her a day before the reception party. She looked at it and blushed and went to the washroom to change...

Rk : biwi out of control ho rahi hai ! (raising a brow while smiling)

next day morning

RK held madhu's hand and walked up to open the doors of the French style balcony in their room which, overlooked the sea. It was tiny but, cozy enough for a couple to stand in it.

Clad in a white linen shirt and blue jeans RK stood there as the air brushed through his face messing with his hair. While, Madhu stood close to him in her long sapphire blue gown which flew in one direction hence, clinging to her body. Staring into each other's eyes remembering the moments of their night of togatherness silently as the cruise sped to reach its first destination Cherbourg...

Rishi : bittuji mujhe Rk ke sign kiye huye papers mil gaye hain...ek hafte mein shooting shuru hogi unki..

Bittuji : main chief ko bata doonga mr. Rishi...thank u...waise film ki heroine ka kuch?

Padmini : yesterday night i had a chat with her but, i thought u would like to break the good news to her yourself so i didn't bother to inform..

Trishna : what was glycerine saying?

Padmini : said she was at London eye...whole of london could be seen...she's fine...how was your first day at shoot?

Rk mansion

Radhaji : bittuji rishu had called yesterday but, right now i can't get through his number..

Bittuji : auntiji i wanted to update chief about some developments about the film. its urgent but, even i can't contact...maybe he'll call tomorrow..

Radhaji : bittuji do you know anything about the schedule for their tour?

Bittuji : yes auntiji i'll tell you..

Madhu got up and spoke, "Rk take me to the Restaurant, i want to see the kitchen!"
