I never hid my marriage: Avinesh Rekhi

This will be a blow to all those girls who have been drooling over actor Avinesh Rekhi akaSultan from 'Madhubala ' Ek Ishq Ek Junoon'. The guy, we have learnt, is happily married and has a son too. In fact, he tied the knot on December 29, 2010, with his girlfriend of eight years, Raisa, even before his debut on the tube with 'Chhal ' Sheh Aur Maat'.

He says, "I met Raisa at a wedding and started dating her eventually. It was a long-distance relationship since she was in Delhi and I was in Chandigarh. After we tied the knot, she stayed with my family in Chandigarh as I struggled to get a foothold in Mumbai. My wife and my one-year-old son, Anraj, shifted to Mumbai only some time back. She was my biggest support when I was struggling in Mumbai."

Did he hide his marriage fearing he'd lose out on female following? "Not at all. I was never asked about my marriage before. I got married because I wanted to, so where is the need to hide it? It may or may not affect my fan following, but that's something I choose not to bother about," says the actor.

my two cents...OK FINALLY I M ACCEPTING WITH A HAPPY HEART THAT I M HAPPY FOR AVI...its jus that i luv both dd n AR in real life so much n knowing they were both single n then seeing their offscreen moments i started thinking they were jus perfect for each othr...it wasnt coz of the chemistry but how beautifully they gel togthr...nyways as u said i m happy for AR n cant deny the wife is indeed very pretty n tall n they luk gud togthr too...not to forget the cute son...all n all i m happy...but unlike others i will always hv the regret that avishti cudnt happen...PEACE OUT...HOPING DD ALSO GET HER MR PERFECT ASAP
