In a very short span of time,Avinesh Rekhi, the actor playing Sexy Sultan has won millions of hearts. With the looks to sweep you off your feet and with those charming blue eyes ,he has become the reason for so many viewers to watch this show

" With any part you play, there's a certain amount of yourself in it. There has to be, otherwise its not acting. Its lying"

The character of Sultan is such that he is a very reserved person and keeps his emotions buried, where they can't hurt him anymore. Avinesh has done complete justice to such a strong character and there is no doubt about that.

I am not saying that he is a perfect actor. The thing that matters the most is that this is his second show and he has shown a drastic improvement. In the recent episodes, he has beautifully portrayed the change in Sultan's character. Its a proof of his versatility.

" I am perfect in my imperfections, Happy in my pain, Strong in my weaknesses and beautiful in my own way because i'm me"

His eyes are enough for expressing his feelings when there are no words. You can clearly see what he is trying to convey. The deeper you delve, the more vast he becomes Within three months, he was nominated for the role of Sultan. That says it all.

The expressions on his face in these pics say it all. He looks so hot when he smirks

He never over-acts in Emotional scenes and that is another character I like about him.

I fell in love with the character Sultan because of him. Avinesh sets fire to the screen with his Amazing acting.

We love you Avinesh. You ROCK!!

He does not need dialogues, he speaks with his eyes, He is a very good actor.

Amazing post Shanzy. Avinesh is not only a good actor, but a good person too. He shot to fame in a very short span of time, and unlike some, that fame didn't turn into arrogance.

People can bash him, mock him, insult him all they want, it only goes to show that no matter what, they can never ignore him. When I don't like something, I ignore it, it's as simple as that. Because I do know the difference between real and reel life.

Most importantly, he doesn't need fancy dialogues to cover up for his flaws. He can deliver any dialogue with utmost sincerity and dedication.

I may not approve of certain things his character is being made to do presently, but it would be incredibly foolish of me to deny that he isn't doing an exceptionally amazing job essaying the "Evil Gangster" these days.

I must say it luks like sultans role was tailor made for him...I hvnt seen his prev work n was a die hard rkbala fan but the first interaction of sulbala in the jungle...I was like wow...not bad...then the second interaction in sultans home where he says yeh pistol hain koi hairdryer nahin...thodi tedhi pakdi hain...BAM...I as Floored...n things jus got better n better n better...be it his portrayal as a father as a gangster with bhujang as a friend n latest as a beta n now as the grey step bro...AVI has jus raised the bar...I m glad cvs gave this negv track...who wud hv thoufht he cud pull off such a sexy smirk...I m yet to see his romantic acts...did catch chaal epis but the actress has zero chem with him...but here the actors n actresses r also marvellous be it dipz aryan meeraji kaka madhu rk n even radhaji...I like watching his interactions with them all...not to forget sikki...he way cvs r lucky to get avinesh must admit he is equally lucky to hv got such a meaty character with amazing dialogues n bkground score...Not to fforget his SCORCHING CHEMISTRY ith dd...DEVA DEVA

Avinesh Rekhi, I was so excited that he joined MEIEJ, when he raised the window of his car and RK saw only his eyes with Sultan's BG Deva Deva playing in the background the feelings of RK of jealousy, he did spice up the show, that first time he entered when he jumped out of the water, wow what a body, I was like wow another good looking guy in the show this is going to make it very interesting now that Madhu and RK have split, I wasn't too happy that he was made a gangster by the CV's because that always told me that out of the two RK or Sultan, Madhu would always choose RK, I've said this to you guys in the AT already, that was the only disappointment the CV's gave me with the character. I knew he was the antagonist and he is doing a very good job with his expressions, the dialogues the CV's are giving him in this new turn in his character are awesome!!

I also loved the confession scene to Madhu the onscreen passion was just amazing, the scene he is entering the house breaking the coconuts his dialogue delivery was awesome he hasn't got only one way of acting we've seen him in anger, smiles, pain and sorrow all terrifically performed to give a new dimension to the MEIEJ story.

I just wanted to say well done to the CV's for choosing him for this role, he has done a good job!
