The similarities as per me are:

1. They both think they are very intelligent and smart

2. Both think others are brainless.

3. Both think they have been treated badly by the world.

4. Both cannot differentiate between caring for self interest and harming other people at the cost of self gratification.

5. Both think they deserve much better than what they have.

6. Both think life and people have been unfair to them and they are simply giving it back.

7. Both are great advocates of the "easy way out"
