Until today, right from the day of his entry, Sultan has been a very silent man. When he was silent we knew he is in love with Madhu, but no one could gauge the depth of his feelings for her as he was silent watcher all the time, in sharp contrast to RK who speaks his mind and is never silent.
Now that the silence has been broken, we know its not the pure kind but the obsessive type of love. The way Madhu has spurned his advances is equivalent to another slight from RK, which he has to avenge at all costs.
So by turning into a obsessive lover Bhai has ensured his longevity on the show. He has to be around to create more headaches and insecurities in RK.
I think this is an important turning point. Madhu might takeover RKs fight against her friend turned foe. As RK is now very vulnerable , his trust has been battered badly. He is insecure as he feels both his Dad and Mom have betrayed him. He is alone and has only Madhu whom he can trust. Deep down inside he knows he can lose everything around him from his fame, money, status but the only person he can call truly his own is Madhu. He knows Madhu and her love is only for him which will not change with time. I hope Madhu doesnt misintrepet what RK said, " You are some one which Sultan cannot take from me." Especially after Sultan's convo today, where Sultan said, RK only wants to possess you.
Despite all his insecurities deep down inside RK knows very well that Madhu's love is the only truth left for him in this world, its this deep seated supreme faith in Madhu that makes him say that Sultan may take everything from him, but RK will always have his Madhu with him which no Sultan can snatch from him.
