Hopefully we may soon see an end to the epidemic of characterization-butchering in MEIEJ, and Madhu's reactions may stop reflecting poorly on her without even being true to her characterization.
Looking forward to the moment that Madhu stops being to made to uncharacteristically plead unrelateable stuff about 'brothers' and takes a stand against the other guy with the fierceness that is truly in her characterization.
That moment may be soon or later, but the serial will truly be worth watching from that point onward,

What I feel is that even Sultan's track shall be bearable if madhu is shown to behave correctly. After all every show needs twists and antagonists.

I think it's way too late for that. The channel made it impossible for the audience to relax and accept him as an antagonist for a prolonged period when they tried the parallel-lead precautionary folly to the extent of putting him on the montage on an apparently equal standing with the serial's male lead. The fact that they had to backtrack so fast proves the extent of the negative reaction from people far more important to decisionmaking than any online fandom.
While that character now remains in the series, the TRP audience will not truly think the stunts and sleight-of-hand for that character's benefit are over and the story would be hoped to be worth watching again with the scenes and tracks that the mass audience wants rather than what the channel may wish to show.

just wanted to know if they really show Sultan talking on the phone or was it only the voice on speaker ?

Actually, they wanted people to love Sultan and ended up with people hating him. 😆 Somehow I feel that they are making an effort to correct the mistakes committed. But it is under the category of too little, too late.
