So I took a shot at quickly pulling the TRP charts together. MB is not out of the woods, with TRPs of 2.2. Wrap this track up, CVs! Get rid of all dead wood (we all know what that is) - now!

MB shared the #8 position with PR, but thats because Taarak TRPs are not reported as of now. If it were included, it would be in the #9 position. Still squeaking in to the top 10, but just about. Many of the top shows' TRPs increased compared to the week - and just check out how well SSK did! DABH was at an insane 4.5. Sigh.

See chart below for MB weekly trends:

Note: does not take into consideration impact of adding new markets at various points. Size of these markets, viewing patterns, demographics, level of digitization etc. of those markets would impact TRPs. Also, hard to judge IPL's exact impact.

Comparison to other top 10 shows: MB went up, so did all the other top 10 shows, except for QH. The two charts below show: 1) Top 10 shows TRPs and 2) TRP increase/drop for those shows, compared to the week prior. The blue bars on the second chart are the ones that did better, the red are the ones that did worse, and the no bars are the ones that were the same.

PS: all my usual caveats apply - this is a rough analysis etc. etc. Feel free to point out the holes (I freely admit there's probably some!)

@ river - love the idea . And lets hope for the best. But I don't think it will happen. Rk is Madhus strength both emotionally and physically. She can't think or act logically in his absence., all she can do is cry cry and cry . May be Rk know this that is why he is shown as a love sick puppy who is pampering his wife. Pls don't be angry at me but I think Madhu should stop doing things as her own without consulting Rk, and she have to concentrate on one thing in which she is the best which is, dance around Rk wearing sexy sarees with back less blouses and seduce him , entrance him. The intelligence dept belongs to Rk only. Sorry but I am sad to see Madhu / a female lead like this.

I've been reading hate messages for Bhai, he has certainly disgusted one and all with his latest antic but this is what we asked for ! a strong antagonist AND the smart & intelligent leads will def. lessen the damage caused..

toh i was saying ke the forum is filled with hate messages but i've kept quiet on this issue..it's disgusting to watch Madhu go through this but she needed to learn her lesson, and learn it the hard way ! i won't be getting any sadistic pleasure out of it, bas pray that she stays strong and she and RK both kick out Bhai in Rishbala style 😎

RK- If he is shown to mellow down...everyone yearns for more abrasive RK. If they show an abrasive RK...we complain that there is no growth in his character...case in example - attempting to do his mother's anteem sanskar. My take is that we are looking for a mellowed out RK whose weakness is his mother and wife but is still capable of playing mindgames and is cunning...but his cunningness cannot come into play unless we have an equally wily opponent who has a way of provoking him...Sultan.

Madhu- Everyone complains when she is being righteous and everyone complains when she shelves her principles for her husband. My take- I understand that she is stubbornly dumb...not much can be done about that but we have to understand that she has been hailed and protected her entire life. In her mind she equates RK of yesterday and Sultan. She changed RK...she probably thinks she can do the same with Sultan. I am not advocating her stand but maybe that is where she is coming from. She has to see Sultan in his most disgusting avatar to see the light. She once told RK that how could he live after killing his own stepbrother...same goes for Sultan. The humiliation in today's episode and Sultan's appearance tomorrow should jolt her out of whatever thoughts of social service she ever had. My point is that change has to come slowly in her and for good enough reasons. I think CVs are headed in that direction but we are expecting everything with jet speed.

Sultan-We were complaining when Sultan was playing GHG, we are complaining when he is being disgusting. Half the MF is disgusted because he is trying to molest his SIL. My take - The guy gives no credence to Rishbala marriage...what makes anyone thinks that he looks at Madhu as SIL...To him she is some sort of a trophy that was snatched at last minute by RK. He can call his obsession whatever he wants including love. Look at how he treats relationships around him. If RK holds on to them a little to tightly, Sultan does not care for them at all. Disgusting, resourceful and wily is good ...that makes him worthy opponent to RK. In current track imagine if RK is able to pull a fast one on Sultan, how much better will we all feel?

I have adopted a wait and watch approach until the next track which I hope is resolution of MK-Meera story. My major complaint at this point is the shoddy job team is doing in terms of details and quality of episodes.

Sultan has taken advantage of RK's weaknesses, it is RK's turn to do the same and Sultan's weaknesses are Madhu and a zeal to prove he is better than RK. Dips has been Sultan's mole in RK household but imagine what happens when she is purposely fed wrong information to pass on to Sultan.. I see so many possibilities now that Sultan has crossed over to dark side completely . My only concern is that we do not have enough time...we need atleast 4-5 episodes to pull all this off after tomorrow's episode...which brings the episodes with SRK to next Friday/ Saturday.
