Agreed. Please, let's not have wistful talk about previous pairings. It's not appreciative of the credit DVD both deserve for making their current pairing work so well.
And no other actor or actress can suit the roles of Madhu and RK as superbly as DD and VD have as Rishbala.

I don't think she would have fit in the role of Madhubala...

Gosh seriously as a huge ViSu fan I would hate Suku if she played Madhubala. I would lose my respect for her. :P

DD is perfect as madhubala, i m nt saying this as i m a dd fan bt bcoz madhu's character needed to be mature as well as innocent n simple... Madhu needed to b a lover as well as a biwi and an independent girl too wid values...
Sukriti looks vry modern n has less of that indian beauty which is most imp characterstic of madhubala...
She was best as piya and dd as madhu...
