MELTING ICE
The first rays of light made madhu open her eyes.She found herself in the bed .Her beddings from the couch had been removed.She looked around to see the room completely deserted.
Rk entered the room to find the bed empty and hearing the sound of the shower guessed madhu was in the washroom.She came out after 15 minutes.
Rk-"madhu come now there is something you need to see.Madhu looked at him quizically.He took her out on the balcony and made her sit comfortably .He began to prepare lemon tea for her.Rk motioned Madhu to see the sunrise which was clearely a treat to watch.Madhu folde her legs and arms together when she felt Rk slipping a comforter around her.He handed her the tea .they sat there just silently watching the nature at its best.
Rk-"Madhu challo lets go to the town for sightseeing and some shopping"
Madhu was shocked ,rather stunnend to see Rk taking so much intiation.He had been not very communicative since that incident and she felt a small crack in her heart.
Madhu looked around the place,everywhere she could seepeople enjoying,laughing and living life to their fullest.Madhu began to walk forward lost in some toughts that she had not noticed Rk who had stopped to take a phone call ,nor did she fell him asking her to stop.She went further and further away and suddenly realized that she was lost as she bumped into a guy by mistake.She apoligized instantly and looked up to see 4 guys who looked at her from top to bottom as if she was being assesd.Madhu's mind immediatly picked up the danger signal,she turned around and began to walk and thet followed her,She quickened her phase and they copied it.Madhu soon began to run frantically searching for her husband,her RK.She did not know how long she ran but soon reached a dead end.She looked around frantically for help.She turned at the man with fear,They looked at her lustfully and began backing up her to the wall .one man placed a hand on her shoulder and began to pull down her dress,When a fist caught him.Madhu turned to look at Rk who looked madder than hell, like a raging bull..He knocked down the man in no time being a action hero,but then one man used a glass to create a scratch on rk's hands...
The last thing Madhu saw Rk's blood and she screamed for him...everything went blank after that.
It was 2pm in the afternoon when she woke up.she looked around and saw herself on the bed.She got up to see Rk struggling to take water with the injured arm with great difficulty,She leapt forward and poured water in a glass and took it near his lips but within a minute rk pushed it away and walked out and sat in the balcony.
Rk took deep breaths to calm down himself.Only he knew what he had felt .
RK's POV
Rk finished the call from Bittuji and turned to look at Madhu who to his horror was missing.He felt a deep sense of dread as he began to walk throughout the streets searching for her madly.It took him 30 minutes to find her cornerd by goons.He wanted to rip them apart limb to limb for even looking at his madhu.However before he could do that Madhu fainting had made him rush to her.
Rk felt a strong surge of anger at himself,he felt he was the reason for it all...
