Nothing much to say about today's episode. Felt like it was meant as a filler, just so that Sultan's voyage of discovery could proceed at warp speed, and he could come up the momentous discovery - per precap - that, hold your breath, gasp,... Mohan Kundra is his father.

The reception had a couple of nice moments, but it did seem a little long. Was nice only because I got to watch cute, happy and adorable Rishbala.

The four winners came with their gifts, which as a fan, seemed like a sweet gesture.
Couldn't they have gotten a better pendant for Madhu? Although I did like the words RK used when he gifted it to her - that even when he's not around her, to remind her of the person who loves her.
Oops RK - you declared victory too quickly, with saying that God could take a little bit of a break since things seemed ok. NOT! Trouble lurks right around the corner.
Dips face was hysterical when she thought hopefully that Sikky had a real plan, only to realize it was a business plan he was referring to.
Nice that Padmini apologized to Radhaji, but not nice that she still kept mum on her role.

Distraught and agitated Sultan:

Sultan gets into the mental asylum to the beat of Deva Deva! Flashes his gun! Scares doctors! My heart is palpitating. And then serendipitously discovers Meera, his mother. Who was having a meltdown conveniently close by.
Important clue on Sultan's age - around 30 years old. Just a little older than RK? So am now waiting to hear the entire MK story. Seems like he married Radha shortly after birth of Sultan?
The speed at which all this is proceeding tells me - Sultan and Mom are prboably going to be the cause for Rishbala SR not happening. Fully expect them to show up at a time and place where they shouldn't be.

I hope the amount of time they spent on Sultan today is not an indication of airtime for the next few weeks. I will be really annoyed at having to fast forward 50% of the episode for fear of falling asleep while watching his scenes. On the other hand, this is the new track, and it does give the two leads a bit of a break. But I'm really hopeful that most of the Sultan scenes won't be solo, but with ZW. And am confident that ZW will make up for the deficiencies and add spice and drama to those very scenes.

Today Episode ws 🥱 better to sleep than to watch the episode, only RishBala part was watchable!! but from nw on i think we will get to see such episode, Sultan will be given imp for tym being, and the track will revolve btw Rk and Sultan n his Mother, so frm onwards we wont get to see much off RishBala, i just hope viewers reject the ttrack and the trp decreases so that CV cm up with better track revolving around RishBla only!!

Lo...humne ne kaha and Cvs ne suna. SO we said use only Sultan in the pre-cap and see what happens. So they have...itni seriously lete hain hame...😆...ahaan!

RM...please maintain this calmness for this week at least. Next week, I know we will see your histrionics. So RM meet their 4 fans ...with their gifts. The orphanage children meet the couple. Bas, Channai Express team ki kami thi. Who spreads these rumours? 😆.

Sikky-Dipali who now seem most comfortable with each other. is sikky pretending to not understand the reason why Dips is so upset??? Or is he really a gone case??
Now comes the part I really concentrated on today😆. Sultan makes the discovery of his life. His mother is alive. Kaka tells him very helpfully..(gosh, i don't even remember the dialogues). But SUltan was heartbroken, shattered, but managed to remain stoic😆😆, as is his forte in extreme situations😉.

Zarina Wahab is good. She fits into MBEIEJ, so does Kanan. Now if only the CVs treat this plot with care, and caution, they could have a winner.

As for the pre-cap...let me put it this way, I will watch if I'm in the mood. This was never the case for me with MBEIEJ. I am now more interested in watching RK's reaction to this bit of news about his past. So i will wait and watch till the plot unravels.

watching old mb episodes is more entertaining than wht i hve seen today.(going to read old episodic discussions of this thread😆)even rishbala were also boring.its like after wedding my old mb is dead...
@sultan-no comments.im not going to buy his ishtory.

I think for a few episodes, it's just going to be a wait-n-watch as the plot thickens.. Nothing to write..

Chalo Sultan ne fast-track discovery of his real and fake parentage aakhir kar hi li...

RK-Madhu toh bas ainvayi timepass kar rahe the, by keeping up a steady chatter throughout... Chalo before the tufaan comes very soon into their lives, jee bhar ke smile karlo...

The guy who plays Rashid is really good at acting:)

Wow! Pat on the back to me for sitting through an episode of Comedy Circus by Bhai & co! One question, what is it about Sultan's fort of darkness he calls home, that people start acting very badly when they step into it! The PR's of the home, the 2 and a half men are hopeless anyway! But that Rashid guy was also rolling his eyes n giving a pathetic impression of a drunkard, not to mention Madhu's acts of stupidity in that place! Lets see if ZW manages to break the curse on the dark house of poor acting! But just to be safe, I hope RK never sets foot in that place, he's our lone beacon of hope for the dark days to come!

Rashid was much better once he stepped out of that place, can't say the same about his companion the Mumbai's Sultan! So Meera Sahay makes her entry with a bangle and seemed to recognize Sultan as her son?Another clunk! Anyway, now it seems like Sultan and RK are around the same age! Now I don't like the same age business one bit, bcoz knowing the Cvs their next twist could be that Sultan and RK were interchanged! Oh God no! Let me make peace with their fathers being the same for now as per Precap! And Bhai seems shell shocked but manages to hide it behind his single expression once again!

Thank you Rishbala for the guest appearance with the guests! This is how its going to be for the coming month I guess! Brace urselves or start packing to move away from MB land!

I was laughing out today and needed to share highlights with someone.

It was clunk after clunk. Last piece of clunk was the bangle !! First I though Zarina forgot to take it out. Then I remembered the spoiler news...that Radha will gift Madhu her bangle.

Salute to the lady ! She committed to this project and she took it up. She made entry on the show the day her son got arrested.

I am still wondering, how she will go on about her shoots, especially if she has to shoot a lot. But chalo kam hi acting tha aaj waale scene mein.

Itne Itne scenes ke liye (going just for few minutes and not even 30 minutes), how come these TV actors end up spending 12 hours...its incredible !

Agreed Rishbala looked fillers. I had a feeling that VD and DD shot separately for the specifically angled shots just like in case of VD and Padmini shots. They seemed disconnected...because obviously they were looking into blank space. It was visible in standing out manner with VD and Padmini in yesterday's episode more starkly. All this is owing to Padmini and DD being busy in other shoots.

Amrita, Meera has been in the asylum for 30 years. She lost her son soon after he was born. So that makes Sultan 30 years old. RK is 28-29 years old. So they could not have been exchanged. Moreover, Sultan and Meera bare a strong resemblance (they finally got the mother-son casting right), not only in appearance but also in behaviour. We now know where Sultan gets his violent streak.

Leela I disagree with you about Mallik. An absent Mallik is bad enough but an unmentioned Mallik is worse. A replacement for the actor is far better. Who know he could have done a good job too. If they had wanted to ease the character out they should not have brought in Pads-Mallik wedding. They could have shown Pads refusing to forgive Mallik and Mallik leaving heart broken. RK could have then got her to forgive him but then Mallik refuses to return saying that thiings are beyond repair or something. Ballu's entry could have been shown unconnected to the wedding. The return of the abuser to claim his wife and the tussle between the traditional wife to accept her husband and the rebellion within her to punish the man who had wronged her daughters could have created enough drama. For me anything is better than the shoddy way Mallik's character was handled. A good creative team should be able to weave their story in such a way there are no glaring loop holes.

Coming to the episode, I was trying hard to decide whether the gifts were more pathetic or the guests. RK kept repeating that the gifts were his although they brought them along. Is the PH making it clear it had paid for the gifts and not the viewers? Nautanki films live up to their name. Everything has to be in dramebaazi style. They tom-tomed their charity of Rs.2,46,000 and odd (forgot the actual figure). Then they tom tomed about Neeta Lulla's designer dress for Madhu (which I still find horrendously colour coordinated). Now these hopeless gifts.

When Sultan bulldozed his way into the asylum, I found the watchmen locking the gates up behind him funny. It almost seemed that they were hoping that he is kept back as a patient there and not let out.

I think Meera thought Sultan was Mohan. Well I just said that Sultan looks more like Meera but then a delusional mind can think that he looks like his father can she not?
