Sultan... Probably the best thing to happen in this show.. What a clear-cut character... Kudos to the CVs/writers... Avinesh's charisma and magnetism adds to this strong leader's allure.. They made him a gangster… Why such a repulsive profession you may ask? And why he couldn't be just an evil half-brother back from Dubai to seek revenge from the Kundras?
Sultan had to be a straight-talker…. A rigid father to Aryan…. A no-nonsense "chief" to his henchmen… And an even-tempered friend to Madhubala…
Have we witnessed any other character in MEIEJ with so many hues and yet display exemplary skill while playing each of these roles... NO...
Weeks after weeks, RK and Madhu have displayed confounded emotions which obviously and quite occasionally led to conflicts... This still continues and will always, thanks to their temperaments and often contradictory viewpoints!
Sultan on the other hand is depicted to be quite reclusive in his choices and gauges his each move with utmost astuteness …
If his good friend is getting ready to marry the same guy who's hurt her badly in the past.. He goes to talk to her…. She refuses to back down from wedding labeling it as her "anokha ishq"... And He gets yelled at for his association but decides to depart composedly...
It was also requested by the bride's mother that he kidnap Madhubala…. A seemingly effortless task for him which would also involve demeaning his friendship… He refused courteously…
He could not endure to see the impending outcomes of the wedding... So he decides to move out of the city! But wait.. He stumbled upon Rashid, his "so-called father" who abandoned his mother when he was quite young..
The rage that filled his eyes and the extreme resentment towards Rashid is exclusively triggered by his "father's" resurfacing and not due to what had happened at the mansion before!
He possesses this unique ability to control his anger and make sure others around him, his loved ones, are not scalded by the inferno inside him- Something unseen on MEIEJ before... Truly a well sketched and flawless individual, Mashallah!!…
