I would like to point out one little thing from Saturday's episode.

The conversation which Sultan overheard, RK said to Madhu people speak things they don't mean and she did it this time. Isn't that what he said? He said he too has done it before, but there was no acknowledgement of the wrong in what he said. She was apparently wrong in confronting him, but what he said about the duty or a wife was in no way wrong and out of the heat of the moment apparenly.

(Neither were his words to Bittoji that she heard over the phone.)

Yup. A great convo of understanding and forgiveness our Sultan heard. A great example of mutual love and understanding.

May he is getting a true picture of that relationship. Otherwise what could be the purpose of that scene?

I think he got a good idea back during Holi, and plenty of other times too. But here too, he got another glimpse.

Good that there's someone else that sees it. Probably the one who sees it the most. Padmini did and probably still does (though she is off screen), but I think he probably sees it more clearly. Remember when he was accused of being an enabler on the forum. Well, damned if does damned if he doesn't.

@bold: At first I didn't understand that triangle (aka Madhu being pathetic) scene either. But as soon as Madhu gave her crazy-girl smile to RK's "no this is not normal. its an obsession" (lol oookayy Madhu. take comfort from that 😆), I was like 😲 ohhh. Basically, Sultan got to see RK Madhu relationship for what it was (and Madhu and RK made a promise that neither will keep lol). RK once again confirmed that it is, in fact, junoon. During that whole sequence Sultan went from being concerned about Madhu (window), to being panicked about being caught in an awkward position, to being angry with Madhu's dismissiveness, to being enlightened (about RK dynamic. Sort of wide-eyed and shocked), to evil-eying RK and the easy way he manipulated Madhu. He knows the deal now. Not that he'll do anything about it. Its just that he knows what the two of them are like privately, so now he'll be better able to understand Madhu I think.

As for Madhu, I don't think we've seen the depths of doormat-edness yet. Sadly. I think its going to get worse before it gets better.
