I hate to say this but now I feel this part might be Rajesh Khanna story, he kept Dimple for 10 years without love in his house, did not allow her to meet people and all, she was too young then and after 10 yrs she freed herself from him and rejoined film, He used to have affairs with other girls in front of her.

Someone wrote month and a half ago there is a new girl for RK, so I'm connecting it with the Rajesh Khanna's story.

You are so right Madhu has become just like Radhaji after staying with RK. Letting him do what he wants than running back into his arms. Just like Radhaji watched her son misbehave and delta with it. Madhubala needs to get away from that abuser before he completely turns her into a doormat.

Yeah before today's clarification.. I doubted Madhu too and thought she was faking it as well...😉

You are right Madhu killed her ego and sacrificed her self respect for RK but RK cannot do that-- WHY? His AHANKAAR comes in his way...

Madhu has hurt his AHANKAAR (unintentionally this time) and he's not going to FORGIVE and FORGET!!

What will be the repercussions of this? Don't know... I wish CVs do something that we as audience have not seen before... kidnapping, public humiliation, har rozz ki bezzati, zabardasti shaadi, taunting, etc have all been done... kuch naya ho jaaye...I Hope I m not sounding too evil... BUT I know, that's how RK thinks.. bigger reaction to an equally huge action!!

Glad Sultan will not be part of all this DRAMA!! Theeek hai I m ready to see his history and background as long he gets his space on my screen every night!!!

Great response! Yeah I wanted something different too! We have seen revenge for marriage already lets see how low RK will go this time! I am interested in seeing the past connection between RK and Sultan. I heard Sultan's mom also hates RK. I wonder how many others don't like RK lol!

I agree with some of what you said, but do not agree that love is possession. RK may believe this, but that just goes to show his immaturity and insecurity. True love is partnership and compromise.

True, possession is a completely different thing from love. How can you love someone who would go to any cost to own?

For him only he has a right to these kind of things. Not Madhu and Madhu will obey every whim of him feeling guilty for what she was going to do and will be the doormat and the puppet of RK for the rest of her life.

I don't think it will be Sultan and his mom who will make Madhu dance to their tunes. Madhu will always dance to RK's tunes.

So the same thing again and again.

To be quite honest, as far as storytelling goes, I don't have a problem with Madhu being shown as this girl who would do anything for love, even to the extent of taking abuse from their man as such women do exist in real life, but I hate the CVs portraying her as strong woman who is standing up for her "love". I also hate RK and Madhu's sado-masochistic relationship being depicted as true love.

I fail to understand how someone as strong as Padmini could have raised such a weak daughter. I have very little respect for Madhubala at this juncture. Unlike a lot of abusive relationships that I have seen in real life, Madhubala has support from her family and friends; she is educated; and has an excellent example of strong womanhood in front of her i.e. her mom.

Here's a question: Why should Madhu kill her ego for love? The ego we are talking about here is tied to self respect. And yet, for some reason people think it's romantic for her to kill her ego.

TM, not specifically a reply to you, since I know this topic is in response to what and how it's portrayed on the show. This is just my general reply to this idea and notion.

Don't worry even I think Madhu has killed her self-respect going back to a man like RK who treats her like a punching bag. But this post was to point out the difference between Madhu and RK. I can't tell you how much Madhu irked me forgiving RK. Only a few members know how I was banging my head against walls.
