Went for a stroll in the main forum and almost everybody there too are celebrating the fall in TRPs! Never seen the MB forum more united 😆

Just curiosity, why is everyone so worried about TRP's? Isn't Colors going off them? Considering that, won't falling TRP's legitimately not matter anymore for how long a show runs? Not that it bodes well for the shows quality, but length wise...?

Whether Colors goes off the TRPs or not makes no difference. The advertisers are still going by the TRPs and they will pay for ad rates of these shows accordingly. So till an alternative comes up that advertisers believe in, TRPs will rule and channel will have no option but to bow down to them.

ETA - The advertisement money is not small change. A 10-second spot goes for lakhs of rupees. The rate keeps increasing accordingly to the popularity of the show. And right now TRPs, no matter how faulty, are the only criteria to measure the popularity of these shows.

Colors have unsubscribed from TAM , even SP has done it but TAM continues to collect the data and publish the TRP's for the advertisers..so we will have the TRP's every week 😆

The TRPs have not fallen so badly also... Last week it fell coz I believe that the audience came back only for the wedding and with the shaadi they also came to know that the next track is "aao Bhai Bhai khele" toh the audience that came for the wedding left... Now only those are left who put up with the crap since May..
But this track is illogical in all senses... The base if this track is wahiyat... Lets see if the TRPs fall next week also... Coz this week the characters are mouthing the most ridiculous dialogues and are not making any sense...
Last week SR and RK sultan fight at the studio were high points that could have steadied the TRPs...
If the TRPs continue in the same range then that means that no matter what crap they show, they will have loyal audience...

Loyal audience like me wait hopefully for this track to end. Even I don't watch it regularly on TV. Read the update and watch online if it is worth. After the Saturday fiasco I missed SR episode on TV. If I m sure meera and bhai are here to stay and rishbala is no longer the solo lead of MB or Madhu takes SUllu's side with that soft wide eyed looks I will quit the show. So it depends about how this track is handled. Trp erosion will be slow but sure. Meera is equally irritating with that pink toy. Who are they kidding? are we fools to sympathize such clunky characters.Audience who came back for the show would have stayed if the wedding was an exclusive affair of RM. Instead they got hints of what was to follow. The most waited wedding of the lead couple was interrupted with another stupid parallel story totally spoiling the mood and beauty of it ..It was a bold declaration of Channel/PH that RM story is over with wedding.MB is all about RM. We put up with all their experiments starting from the weird wedding to unwedding and R.K"s. psychopathy since it was about RM. Not anymore. It is too late to change that face of the show.
