The gray character trend is indeed interesting and more appealing than your regular naive good man who gets fooled so easily..

Though initially it was charming Madhubala who wooed, R.K made me hooked to this show . Right from the beginning till yesterday all his reactions are appropriate and normal.He asks right questions in right time. I could always connect with the character. A no nonsense man except that neurotic phase. Even that was not out of universe as obsessive neurotics do exist in real world.I just did'n t want R.K. to be one of them.I only wish the CV's don't tamper with his character anymore. Everything I liked in the show has been destructed. Let them spare the larger than life character they created .For Vivian it is a life time opportunity and he utilized it with a bang. I will always remember him as R .K. of Madhubala. When one could understand and bonds with the role he plays ,and well appreciated an actor is encouraged to improve his performance.In all fairness AR does not have that luck as his character is clunky and hated.

AR character is clunky n hated because the CVs are portraying him as a contender for Nobel prize for peace.. He doesn't have a stance, doesn't stay true to his word, he is extremely boring, nd his OTT goodness is killing the audience.. Not to miss the crocodile tears.. They have bored us to death.. RK told us his sob story in 20 mins in a very interesting manner.. And we felt for him, we justify everything he does...

Where as bhai killed us with his sob story.. It was at a point, we had to scream that okay his life sucked but he needs to spare us the torture.. Then his bad acting doesn't help. His single expression is frustrating..

And then they tease us with tweets like who is a better grey character..?, is he the most hated villain??😆😆

@Subashni, totally agree.. I will be honest; watching a beautiful person on the TV screen is delightful, but strong acting and character portray is a must. Why RK is appealing? Because the man who plays his role have the above mentioned qualities. I have mentioned this before, VD has a great sense of appreciation towards his character; he loves RK and never wants to change anything about him. Such a conviction allows him to connect better with RK and become one with the character while acting.

Tweets prove CV's and channel fail to understand the mindset of viewers. If only Sultan has not been introduced as an alternate and parallel lead to R.K/ Vivian we would not have hated him this much. That mere idea put him in a precarious condition. We are prejudiced and don't even give him a chance. I am sure even if his story is most interesting in the universe I still would not bother as I suspect him as a threat to R.K's decent portrayal in the show.Refusing to accept this the channel is time again desperately forcing him with the most clunky tale Had it been done cleverly and slowly with a strong characterization and story we might have accepted him. Dipali for instance transgressed all limits by going in and out of their bedroom. But she was just another supporting character . Not a forced parallel lead and we accepted/put up with her role.The more they force a clunky tale we puke. If Sultan had been just another character I don't object him playing a major role. A Daily soap cannot be about just 2 characters. But alas! that is not the case. Who knows. A.R might have improved if his character had potential. When everything is clunky even most talented actors fail to accomplish.

Sorry this is absolutely out of topic but I cudnt stop myself from saying this
Did anyone notice Barkha Bisht who recently replaced Rupali ganguli in Parvarish a sony tv show. I mean she plays character sweety wife of a middle class man and mother of 3. What I am trying to say is her sarees, they are sooo beautiful and she looks stunning. Here we have Madhu w/o a superstar dreses like what I don't know. I really want Drashti to take some tips from BB. Her sarees are more classier than M and Dips

I do not agree with your theory on DD and JDJ participation.

Nautanki PH knew it well that DD had declined participation in JDJ5 to show her commitment to MEIEJ show in the first year. She postponed it to next year and now she is in JDJ6.

Why would and why should PH have objection to DD's commitment to JDJ which was her prior project even before MEIEJ kick-off ?!!!!

Every actor needs to grow.

VD went on that Aajtak Sponsored Honeymoon reality show by going to Australia. That was aired on TV for 8 weeks. Why cannot DD work on other project ? Is she not giving her time to MEIEJ ?

Your input instead of being constructive is merely speculative and misjudging on DD and Nautanki PH, so much so that if your theory were true that Channel pressurizes, now it would do so more.

My point is that if DD declined participation in JDJ last year because she knew that it would affect the show adversely, it means that her participation would affect the show adversely this year too. The PH wouldn't like that this year anymore than they would have liked it last year. Of course they don't have any control over what DD does when she is not shooting with them. The Channel does have as it has stopped its actors from working in reality shows of other channels in the past.

I'm not criticising DD for doing JDJ. She is obviously working very hard to juggle the two shows and doing justice to both. About VD going on sponsored honeymoon, I'm sure that is another thing the PH wouldn't have liked. However, it was something he did on a personal leave and the news channel is not a rival to Colors or aided by Colors.

This post is only about what I feel in happening behind the scenes. Yes it is speculative in nature. Nothing wrong with speculation na? Why are we on IF if not for discussing and speculating. And we are too small in the larger scheme of things for the Channel or PH to take us seriously. If PH is really playing this game, then the Channel will figure it out much before me.
