Hhehehehe!!! I don't know when in the recent past, I last enjoyed an episode so much!! Ummm... probably all those episodes leading up to the holi dance!! What a powerful performance by Pallavi Purohit!! She portrayed her anguish and fear leading to her desperate demand that Sultan kidnaps madhu if needs be! Boy did she hold my attention even though sultan was in that grey kurta!
Padmini..all she can think of is saving madhu..beyond that or how sultan can do it, is overshadowed by her fear for her daughter. Her's is such a lovely, overwhelmingly poignant motherly response for she knows what rk is capable of and she knows her daughter won't survive another onslaught by rk. She explains what will end up happening to madhu post yet another revenge by rk, she pleads, she begs and finally demands!!
Sultan on the other hand shows how he is taking in every single word padmini is saying and practically, execution wise and consequences wise what the problems would be with what she wants! Typical male response. Avinesh shows all that without saying a single word and mostly with those gorgeous expressive eyes of his. Typically male...arrives at a conclusion having thought it through and gives padmini the conclusion. Only to have the hot potato put squarely back in his hands by padmini who is not even prepared to hear the echo of a no in response to her demand!! I almost jumped off my seat to rush off to rescue madhu!!! hahahaha!!!
Its also intersting to note that both sultan and padmini think that rk acutally does love madhu!! Not only that but they both still think that madhu's intention is still to continue with her original plan to dump rk. Wereas we the audience are now increasingly sure that madhu is now trusting rk and believing him completely.
Padmini is right..rk can fall to any depth. When needed he carries out his actions carefully but it is calculated, and only seemingly genuine. Like..this sudden ability to go to his dad's old studio all because madhu is with him. Here is a girl who has been told by her mom that she will not attend any of the ceremonies or the wedding. She is heart broken. So what does rk do? He as usual twists the whole thing and makes it about him!! Madhu forgets her pain at her ever widening rift between herself and her mom and is nostril deep in rk and his anguish which he was able to put aside this very precise crucial moment when madhu may waver regarding staying with him coz the most important person in her life..her mom was cutting ties with her.
It was a very convincing performance by rk. Am sure every single rishbala fan is by now happily convinced that they were right all along...he always loved her but he had been lying to himself that he wanted revenge. I say poopies. Cos no one who loves someone does what rk has done. Bhaad mein jaayi "I didn't realise" I almost...almost believed it all too...until the final hug in the percap...Bravo Vivian!! It was sooo sublte but it was THERE...that calculated, look of satisfaction that he has got her to lower alll her barriers once again and trust him 110%!
Now some may say..course he looked satisfied...he got his love madhu to believe him. I say no..no the look would have been VERY different if his INTENTION was to convince her that he loved her. The INTENTION has been to have her lower her barriers and trust him completely again not to convince her that he loves her. Now...what he is going to do with that.?
It depends!! It depends on the same stuff everything has always depended on when it comes to rk. On whether he feels threatened...whether he feels he is going to lose, whether he feels his will is going to be thwarted. As soon as that happens...like it seemed to do with padmini in yesterday's episode, the REAL rk will once again emerge. Yes even with madhu. Rk has not changed. He just changed the way he played the game. He couldn't win by force, so he has done it another way.
Pls if you chose to comment and want to be spanked make it worthy of it. There are sooo many of you who love me sooo much you always visit in a toli and I have always been generous regardless of the level of intelligence displayed.
