And why not?

I mean, apart from the dozens of reasons I can think of, lets go with the most popular and accepted(and understood) justification on this forum:). I am sure this time the majority will concur with me, wont it?

- Its a show ! get over it. No body wants reality, feministas, women's andolan in the story! it is - ee-maa-gii-NAY-TIONNN. aww..

I am glad Padmini was able to get at least one thing right- I mean all that self-righteous anger and disenchantment with the superstar, and silly frustration and desperation to rescue a daughter from a man she believes(but is so wrong) will only harm her(when all he does is publicly humiliate her at the drop of a hat. now that isn't a crime! but who's to tell her that.*sigh*), yeh.. so all that stubborn EGO(right. now if she were to be slapped by someone whose father is in hospital because of her, and she went on a rampage systematically destroying that person while feigning 'love' with them.. then its understandable and totally acceptable).. so again, despite all these gargantuan failings, she, i think redeemed herself today by going the way this forum wants the characters to go, isn't it? by not going realistic, and going to a gangster.(oh i still think its realistic all right, but meh, that's just me.)

oh love her for this alone.:) I already loved you, you are a fantastic mother, and now I only feel more for you. SO does this forum! believe me Padmini, this world is not as hypocritical as its made out to be by cynics.:)

I'm glad she did that, she is a fighter and she kept on doing this until she is sure about her daughter's safety, she is true to herself. and thats the reason madhu is alive today, but people are forgetting this

But i don't wont sultan to interfere in this matter, i know he will, as he is bound to his words, but this is madhu's hell, she herself choose it , so let her suffer in that.

I feel so strange that Padmini goes to a gangster for help. Instead she had to call her hubby Malik for help. I don't understand how she does not even remember her husband. Nowadays it looks like everyone has forgotten Malik. In such crisis, Padmini calling Malik for help would make more sense than calling Sultan. I am not against Sultan, but Padmini taking help from Sultan after talking to Madhu yesterday was wrong. Where is Malik?

oh people have forgotten more than this alright.. and yes I don't want Sultan to interfere either. If the girl doesn't have any need for her soul, for her mother, then let her do what she wants. But he respects Padmini as much as he respects Madhu and there's no way hes going to defy her desperate order..

I still dont want him to, but I love him for being in a conflict regarding this. its so him.

And now I wonder what Sultan will do, will his decision to kidnap Madhu be in her favor or against? Is he really saving Madhu or putting her in more danger...

Though I disagree with Padmini going to Sultan and not her own husband...

Bravo to CV for making mockery out of all the characters...

ps. I see that sarcasm is running high today :P

ok..lol, foremost lets just consider that the actor(playing Mallik) isn't available or hasn't been available in a long time. Such things happen more often than not in Hindi shows, so..

other than that, its natural she would go to him . RK is a superstar, and a very powerful man. We have seen how he dealt with a police case against him. Besides, Padmini thinks Madhu is still bent on taking revenge, which renders taking help from womens' cell or some such, not an option.

The threat that RK poses, is a personal one. 'what if he comes to know of Madhu's intentions? what then?' Retribution will be immediate and devastating , going by his track record.

its a very personal and an intense fear in padmini's mind. and it can only be dealt with in secret, (and by forcing Madhu), and thus by someone who she can trust implicitly. and who better than Sultan. The man is indebted to them for life. It isnt that she is using him,, in situations like these she is only slave to her heart. It asks her to save her daughter at all costs. and thats what she is doing..

I agree with u on that 👍🏼

Just modifying and posting the points I posted in another Thread :

We can't overlook the emotions of a shattered mother who saw her daughter brutally insulted in public, when the Superstar announced that he is returning his Madhubala Malik after avenging her? 😳 That too at the time, when hours ado Paddy had blessed Madhu to have a happy life away from all?

And Paddy saw how Madhu was lifeless at the moment? How she begged at RK's feet to accept her daughter back? How she cried and requested RK? How defensive she became when RK asked his guards to throw Madhu away from the Mansion? 😵

I feel she is fully right in doubting on RK and not trusting him 👍🏼

And about Padmini seeking help from 'GANGSTER' Sultan? Well technically his profession is wrong, but as of now since Malik is missing in action, Paddy has decided to seek the help of Sultan, who apparently is Madhu's friend! And when u r in a complete state of fear and panic regarding ur loved one's welfare, logic fails to work, and Paddy is no exception 👍🏼 🤓 🤓

Moreover though RK is hardly shown as one, he is a SUPERSTAR 😆
So some1 as powerful as him is needed isn't it? 😉

I'm Ok with Paddy seeking help from Sultan 👍🏼

And no comments on usage of fiction-reality logics, as it is mostly twisted and used according to individual conviniences 😆

Lovely post. Loved Sultan and padmini scene today. Felt really sorry for padmini today , she was really feeling helpless and I can understand where she is coming from and that sultan is her last hope to save her daughter but she is putting him in a tight spot , I only hope sultan doesn't get carried away and promise her ki , he will get madhu out of the superstar's house by hook or crook . He has to make her understand that madhu is a big girl and she can fight her own battles ( after looking at today's epi , I feel ki she lost her ground already) . If only madhu could see what her mother is able to see...God knows where this is all leading.

at this point, sadly, I don't think he would be able to get through to Padmini. Shes too terrified and concerned for her daughter. No wonder she's making him use force to prevent her from making a horrible decision.

I really feel for her.. and that is why I feel angry with Madhu. Does she not realize what she is putting her mother through? This numbing tension and fright? Is her revenge/love worth this? Is RK really worth loosing her mother? sad..

I for one dont agree with her means of trying to stop Madhu

her reasoning ..her not trusting RK is understandable but her means are questionable in my books

All I can say is one more character butchered
